Hi, I'm Ezra!

Hi! My name is Ezra Tellington (Tellington is my pen name and nickname, not my last name, but I use it as such) and I'm a 30yo enby from Paris, France (well, I live in the suburbs). I came out as non-binary in... November, I think? although I already had an """enby phase""" eight years ago. I changed my name with my friends and tried to come out to my parents, who didn't accept me (I guess that story will have to be its own post).

 

I began taking testosterone last week!! To be honest it wasn't that big of a step, I didn't feel like I was "beginning my new life" or "finally being myself"... But I am waiting for the effects to kick in. I was lucky enough to have a friend guide me so I was able to jab my thigh myself, and it didn't even hurt!

 

Apart than that I'm uh... bisexual I guess, although with a strong preference for women and non-binary people. I'm polyamorous and live with my fiancée, who's also trans (so obviously she's been very accepting). I'm a creative type, with possible ADHD (and diagnosed BPD) so I get all sorts of specific interests.

Congrats on your recent starting of T. It may not seem like a life changing event but it’s amazing to me how much change can take place in just one year. I just watched a documentary on Revry streaming platform about a FtM who had some amazing changes after just the first year. The differences they experienced from the beginning of that year to the end were more than I expected. I wish you the best possible outcome for you and your upcoming changes.

 

If you’re comfortable sharing, many here could benefit from reading about some of these changes and experiences we all seem to have on our journeys. Transition can get a little bumpy at times but with a good support system (siblings, friends, allies, support groups/forums, and maybe a good therapist, etc…) in place, it’s manageable and easier to work through those tough times.
