Press on nails

Any suggestions on a good press on nail that doesn’t require glue and can easily be removed?

Thank you.  I was doing some research last night and found a brand called Glamormade. They make some really cute ones in all different colors. They don’t use glue and come off after soaking your hands in warm water for 10 minutes.

Hi @Limitededition I have used nail stickers, that I found on Amazon, they are cheap to buy, have so many lovely colours and shades. You can put them on and they can be removed really quickly with a set of tweezers or something similar. I found I always lost one or two press on nails anyway and then the others were never as simple to take off as the packet promised!

Thanks Dee I’ll check those out. Pastel colors are my favorite.

Back in my 20’s when I was exploring my femininity in public, I used these press on nails all the time. All be darned if every evening out with my gf’s one of these nails would not stay on. I always had a spare piece of adhesive ATG tape (used in the picture framing industry) to put it back on. But I remember how much I hated the fact that I had to bother with such an issue. Back in those days the press on nails only came in about 8 colors. I noticed today there is no end to the color availability. The even have French Tip variations that are very nice. But from the thread, it appears they never upgraded the adhesive used to hold them in place. I have used them since the 90’s but the new colors have me slightly interested in revisiting them for special occasions. The sticker idea @DeeDee brought up sounds like another nice alternative.

Ya it’s crazy how many colors and designs there are out there.  I was looking for something that could easily be removed because I’m still closeted at home right now.

I wear artificial nails from Sally Beauty Supply (no affiliation).  They are full nails that come in many different styles and each package has numerous sizes to choose from.  My favorite style are "coffin tip."  These nails are unpainted, so I can color them as I like.  This is good because I can change my nail color to suit my wardrobe or my mood.  I use adhesive nail tabs made by a company called En Forten.  I buy them from Amazon.  They are super strong and I have never lost a nail.  I take my time removing them which allows me to wear the nails over and over.  The adhesive tabs are not reusable, but they come in a pack of 200 and are relatively inexpensive.  As you can see the combination looks pretty good.

Another option my wife introduced me to is a product called Color Street. Color Street is a nail polish sheet that is sized to you nail. The advantage is they go on without the messy nail polish, come in a variety of colors and they have stencils for accents. For Christmas I had sparkly green nail polish and a black line art holiday stencil. Basic nail polish sheets come off easily with nail polish, the more sparkly sheets take more time. The polish sets up in a few hours and can be worn for days or removed whenever.
