Does having big breasts in your family affect how estrogen will grow them?

Big boobs run in the family and I was wondering if that might mean I’ll have that too after a few years on hrt. Does family biology affect it at all or is it random?

As I understand it, supposedly your breast size would be about one cup size smaller than your closest female relative. Who's your closest? My mother had fairly substantial (not enormous) breasts. My sister, quite the opposite. Which one counts?

Neither of my sisters are adults so I can’t say for them, but it’s it’s one cup size smaller than my mom’s I should be fine. Thank you! :)

Sure thing. To be honest, my mom and I never got along, but I'm rooting for her to be my closest.

Haha my mom and I don’t get along either, but at least now I have something to thank her for

It may or it may not, which is more good news than bad news. It really isn't obvious.

Not in my case. I'm currently a double D, and noticed the other day. That the cups where uncomfortable. I'm sure it's time to up grade again. For a reference last year at this time I was a large b small c.

I'm bigger then my dads grandma, and my mom. Moms mom is bigger, but I don't know if she's ways been big, or big because of weight gain as she got older. I asked my mom a few months ago if bigin's run in the family. She said some where bigger.

Do you want them? I honestly wish they were smaller most days. The scary thing is I'm only 18 months into hrt. I'm sure they won't be slowing down any time in the next year. I have joked with my friends. That many woman don't even get that munch growth in a life time. Not counting pregnancy. Like I did in in the last 18 months. I stopped in to my old job there other day to pick up some snacks, and my boss who hasn't seen me for two months. Made the comment they look bigger then 2 months ago.

Honestly I hope they stop. I'm sick of buying new bras every 4-6 months. I can no longer sleep on my stomach, or my side. As they sufacte me when I sleep on my side. They are always in the way. Especially wearing a bra. They hurt when I bit a bump, or run up the stairs. I'm also bigger then all the woman in my inner circle. The amount of jealousy i get is crazy.

My family is very mixed there too. My mother was a small B cup at best but some of my aunts are full on D and personally i'd rather be closer to my aunts. For all the discomfort a large chest can cause that's how i feel. Luckily for me i've never been able to sleep on my stomach to begin with. If i don't lie on my side i can't fall asleep so that would not/will not be a problem.

Sorry you have that problem. I could take a portion of it if I could

I hope for big breasts but I sleep on my stomach every night. I guess I should find a new way to sleep. Shouldn’t be too bad, just a few sleepless nights before I get used to it. At least I won’t have to give up my fans as white noise or else I’d die of sleep deprivation. I’m very particular in the way I sleep if you can’t tell.

OK, sure but EVERYBODY knows that ONE girl who, in middle-school, came back from summer-vacation with a pair that she was going to regret.

Breast development is super individual. I've got small B-cups which I'm pretty OK with. They're probably still growing (because soreness, ow), but I was a late bloomer with puberty 1.0. There's no reason to expect I wouldn't be a late bloomer the second time around as well.

Hugs!

I was a late bloomer in some parts. I didn't grow any body hair till I was about 21, and while I started shaving around 16. I was just finally able to grow a good beard when I started my transition. My breast have been sore since about 4 months in. I have noticed they get really sore about every 5-6 months for about a month. Then blow up over night it seems. I haven't worn the same size bra for more then 6 months.

As for the sleeping part. Its just trying to get use to a new way to sleep. I have a fan. Because my room is so hot. Because its on the south side of the house..

@Birdie @Adrianna Danielle    @Willow    Big news today. We're moving to WA. My wife is taking a job and I am most likely losing mine, so it's adventure time. I'm supposed to be a risk-seeker (Aries, ENTP, etc.) but this is hitting every klaxon and alarm in my brain, but it's going to make my wife and kids happy and it will be a place to make new friends as me without the 45 years of binary baggage. There are tech jobs all over Seattle, which we'll be near, and it's a decent State for trans rights (I don't know how it compares to MN, which is a refuge state). So wish us luck! This could be the best thing ever or rocky as hell, who knows!

I know the feeling. I had to replace the dishwasher, fridge, stove. The only other issues that could pop up is the washer and dryer and the microwave oh I forgot the toaster.

That's the hard part of online relationships, they really never get to see the whole you. You either have to create a persona that will carry the day until they get to see you for who you are, or be open and take the risk because it's really easy for them to disconnect because there is little to no bond.   You have to share pictures of your puppy! I am not a dog person, but I can appreciate them in jpg format! My kiddos would love to have a pet, but we're all allergic in some shape or form and my wife and I are like, "no." :D

I'm sorry Birdie! I wished you could move to a non-stressful place.

I love shopping for cars with my imaginary budget lol. A mustang is always fun to drive! Every time I felt down or depressed I drove it and it made me happy!

Well things have actually been really good lately. I got a dog last Friday. I forgot how expensive they are but they are worth it. Now if I can just get him potty trained that would be awesome! He only has one particular spot inside that he likes so I try to watch him carefully. He is part German Shepheard and part Lab. He is very low maintenance. The sad part is that he didn't know what to do with a treat nor did he knew how to play fetch instead my youngest was playing fetch. He is kind of getting used to toys somewhat. I'm no longer expecting a relationship because I tell them what is wrong with me because I don't want them to be surprised about anything and they always ghost me. Oh well.

Even with the court ruling, the problem is that many of the insurance companies continue to have exclusions for everything unrelated to a vaginoplasty. For folks who are transgender females, we still get no protections to ensure we can get electrolysis (other than for genital preparation prior to vaginoplasty), voice/speech therapy or surgery, facial feminization procedures, or body contouring. There are many components that go along with managing our dysphoria. When the government mandates all of these measures, then I will say it was a victory.   I am still worried that all of the progress will be eradicated if the election goes poorly in November.
