Best Underwear for pre operation non tucking MTF

I was wondering if anyone had any underwear suggestions on the best underwear for pre operation non tucking for MTF.

I’ve tried “mens” compression shorts for sports which I like but you can see the lines where it ends on my thighs in leggings. Parade boy shorts seamless. They are made for all genders. For me though just walking, everything slipped out multiple times. So they aren’t a great option. I’ve also tried Tomboy x boy shorts. Again made for all genders. I got the underwear but you could see them under leggings. I’ve asked the customer support of the active kinds are a better option. Just waiting for a reply. This is a issue for me as I’m in the exercise science field, so leggings and shorts are my outfits. So I need a solution. And “mens compression shorts aren’t it for the reason above and they are longer than the shorts.

Personally, I used a gaffe panty. Nothing complicated, but it kept everything where it was supposed to be and shaped the area correctly.

Hugs!

I've been finding that what I like best is to get panties that are made with any kind of nice stretchy material, and size down about a size or two. (The sizes of the leg holes in women's panties seem to be much more forgiving than they are in men's briefs, so I haven't found that little bit of sizing down to be problematic. If I had sized down on my old men's briefs, I probably would have cut off leg circulation!)

I also find that it helps to wear them angled forward a bit (compared to how I would wear men's underwear): Ie so their front is actually down a bit (so it does a better job of covering my "bits" and things are less likely to fall out the side), and then the rear side sits up a bit higher.

YMMV, of course. I have a very "plus sized" body (*cough*), and this seems to work well for me.

What Is a Gaffe panty you mention? I’ve seen that word but dint understand it

It is very much like an Athletic Supporter (aka Jock Strap) that has heavy elastic that pulls the penis and testicles up next to the body in the crotch area.  Gaff's are also known as Dancer's Belts in some places.  When called "panites" the garment is built into an actual female fabric underwear.

I was wearing a Calvin Klein men's bikini brief for many years.  Then about 6 months ago i bought a small women's bikini top and bottom and that totally works for me.  I do stick out of it down below a little bit, but it is small enough to be supportive.  I love the bra.  So much better than the other small bras I was experimenting with.  It's padded and with my fairly large male breasts, it looks pretty good.

I ended up buying 22 pair!  They were about $25/each on Amazon.

I absolutely hated the men's whitey tighties that I wore growing up.  They were itchy and too big to really be supportive.  Just gross.  Then my biking partner in the 90's turned me on to boxers.  They surprisingly work pretty well with bicycling.  I was wearing silk boxers in the 90's and I was wearing a purple silk shirt.  I just remembered that the other day.  That's the way I roll!

Good afternoon M.A.   Welcome to Transgender Pulse Forums, I think you'll find that there are a lot of us who had their first therapist reconsidering our story and recommended us to gender or LGBTQIA specific therapist. I made my first therapist cry after asking me what was my worst experience or memory. She was not prepared for the can of worms I brought to the couch. My second therapist is a gem, she's my age and knows how to work with my thoughts.    My two kids were also involved in the arts programs in school one in theater, the other combined art and modern music.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Welcome.   This can be a good sounding board and a place to say things you otherwise could not. Be yourself. Find out what that is.   Abby

I'm wearing a white t shirt and jeans.  The t-shirt is softer than a man's and slightly girly.  Feeling kinda pretty.

That's very common in internet forums and it is hard not to take it personally sometimes.   You might post "bump" with a smiley face to bring it to the top of the stack, or you might use the @ feature if there are certain people you would really like to have comment on it, and say something like Dear Abby, I would really like your input on this.  Please take a minute and respond.  Thanks!!!

The same for me... That's exactly were MmIndy came from. I started choosing female skins as soon as they became available in the few games I played.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Something else I noticed @Ladypcnj Since I use the Unread tab, I don't see threads I've read again until someone replies to it, or the author adds something.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Good morning @Ladypcnj   Some posts get lost in the busy times here. It also maters how people navigate the site. Some only look at their notifications, or tap the All Activity tab which shows them thread they've commented on. (how I see it)... I on the other hand use the Unread tag under Activity. I don't think people ignore post as much as they get caught up reading threads they've already been active in.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

What to do if post is being ignored?

LOL.  I have done this more than once.
