Effect on mind when male genitals reduced by medication ?

Sarah Victoria

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am new to the site and hope i dont offend anyone in how i ask/approach my question.

I suffer from gender dyshoria and dearly wish to reduce as much as possible my male genitals by medication. Maybe go as far as have them removed one day. To me they are that repulsive and undergoing therapy about them.

The question i have is the effect on the mind and emotions should i first go down the road of medical (otherwise known chemical castration ?) .  Can anyone give me some advice but also experience if they have gone down this road first ?. Any noticeable changes from start to finish in ones mind ?.

Regards

Hi Sarah,

just going to answer your question here, it seems like you need to at least try the hrt approach.  May I ask what your age group is ? As some meds are better suited for your age.

The brash dated medical terminology really is rather funny to be honest.  I was told that I am not to have goseralin because it’s chemical castration I instead went on cyproterone for two years and was like a zombie.  But others may be ok, sexually they both do deplete T levels although my levels are within range of puberty I can function sexually but leave me feeling very run down and poorly next day (weird I know hehe) you have to really try so that is a very bold statement and individualist it varies from person to person.

Anything you want to know about transitioning in U.K. any paths just message me hun 🙂

Oh and I’m soon starting a electrolysis course so I can practise electrolysis on the public I currently do it on myself, massive dysphoria for me is facial hair it’s nearly all gone now.

I won’t go on 🤣 take care hun x

Hi Bridget,

Oh please go on, i would love to know so much more and from other girls such as you who are further down the road embracing finally being a woman.  I have so many questions.

My age group is 51, although feel and look 91...so unlike your lovely photo of yourself in your profile. You look radiant.

Yes, i intend to go down the HRT approach, but by being 100% honest with my therapist and doctors i will follow their guide and see how i go.   Interestingly you mentioned chemical castration as that was mentioned also in my recent meeting but not explained fully yet.  Can you let me know more about this please if ok with you ?.   Have still to undergo required blood tests etc so anything can be possible.

I share your dysphoria about facial hair.  I have hated that since i was in my teens ....horrible.... likewise chest although have been lucky on both counts as my hair is fair, not much noticeable stubble and thankfully on my face no nine o'clock shado.  So please let me know how you get on with your electrolysis course......

My other dysphoria which i do suffer badly from is in regard to my manhood between my legs.   To be honest its never been that effective even during my marriage (which am happy if you wish to know more) and detest the sight of it.   I so want it to disappear or at least be reduced as small as possible as would during my daily exercises in the morning wear my tights and leotard comfortably with no horrible man bulge. So look forward one day to have that lovely woman shape to replace it.

Thank you for your lovely greetings and would love to exchange fashion talk and ideas with you.

Warm hug to you

Hiya Sarah,

so have you had your first appointment with the GIC in London?

This chemical castration terminology is utter rubbish it purely isn’t.  The injection goseralin is a three month injection like a grain rice they inject in the tummy it’s fine I don’t mind needles. I’m almost an electrolysist so yeah hehe.

Alternatives are available I wouldn’t touch the cyproterone if I was you, I managed it for two years and working as a HR assistant in different jobs as new me with these tabs quite honestly felt utter despair and depressing thoughts.

Electrolysis is great but get laser first for 10 sessions on the face and neck gets rid of the majority. This will save you a fortune, then go to electrolysis.  I am going to be doing my BIAE course end of next year which will allow me to do self employed work for trans patients.

Fashion tips well we are all individuals, I like simple timeless investment pieces not one for buying loads of cheap clothes that sit in the wardrobe hehe.

Just avoid halter necks and to much exposure to the shoulders in the beginning but honestly hrt may resolve this for you ☺️
Makeup I can offer you some advice, you find as you go along you will discover techniques that work for you.

I guess now it’s rather unpleasant how you see yourself down there, gender dysphoria is very complex issue in amongst us.  It grows stronger I find with the HRT as your mind does adjust to being female, so many of us focus on the physic of transition but quite honestly the mind changes and the feelings you get are immense I’m incredibly sensitive person so I benefit from feelings horrendously so.  I won’t go to personal on myself but just to give you an idea.

Please feel free to message me direct I am happy to chat and help, I didn’t get much help and I love to help 🤩

Cuddles to you happy Sunday and the sun is shining

Hi Bridget,

Very very interesting your advice you have given to me this morning.

have noted them all down and will do some research as no doubt when i start visiting my clinics in the future the drugs you mentioned will arise in discussions and i will at least understand faster .

I havent yet started a GIC clinic as at this stage just with my GP and started more gender therapy.   You have written previously in your messages that there is a long waiting list for the London GIC ? and to enquirire with the Transgender clinic which is more costly but cuts waiting time down to start my journey........  so i will enquire there also.

So if ok still i would like to ask more questions as you have experienced already and now further down your road to freedom away from man and now a woman. Envy you but i feel so happy for you being your real true self.... one day i hope for myself.

Fashion and make up ?..... have studied these for years but not much opportunity to. Youtube and magazines my main source but also quitely watching my wife apply hers, picks her clothes which in my mind i have fun but immense frustration in would i have that image, look, colour and so much more. I still have to be careful.   But i have a range of summer and winter ideas and desires what to wear. Would like to know yours.

I can only imagine the though changes in your mind when your HRT commenced and to date.....a roller coaster of emotions. Now you are a woman i would like to hear more about the contrast in feelings and wants/hobbies since you were once a man.

Warm cuddles to you also Bridget and have a wonderful relaxed sunday pampering yourself.  I will later bathing in scent of rose in a hot bath dreaming girl thoughts.

Love to you

Sarah x

Hey Sarah,

My genitals are much smaller and do not work sexually. Neither do I mind. But, they can still bring on dysphoria. Emotionally is maybe a bigger joy than anything physical. I mean I love my much desired A-cup breasts, but I feel like a female and emotionally act as one. The two most noticeable are I cry more, but they are appropriate to my mood. But, the most strongly felt one is my intuition. It has served me well. I think everyone has them, only women gives themselves the ability to pay attention to them.

All the best, Stephie

Heavens to Murgatroyd! What if Governor Abbott has installed genitalia scanners on the commodes? I suppose they could collect, catalog, and then with the genitalia scanner, activate the Klaxon, the red lights, and then initiate the barriers to contain you until the police arrive. Weird times, and weirder politicians, call for extreme measures. All of this caused by you wanting a gladder bladder. Woe is the world...   On a more real world note, be careful Birdie. Someone may snitch you out just to see what happens.

Congratulations on the ear piercing @MirandaB!! You'll get over the concerns about sleeping on them or how they're healing quickly. I found myself scouring Amazon and eBay for different types of earrings so I had them on hand when I was healed. My favorite earrings are a pair of flame painted brass feathers and I have a pair of leaves I love, too. So many possibilities once you're healed!!!     @Mmindy- I totally understand the puppy routine. We've has our girl for a week now and I'm amazed at how quickly she's learning. She is totally acclimated to her crate now. She also sleeps 6 or 7 hours each night. Yesterday, she started going to the door and sitting when she needed to go out to the bathroom. Still, it's play for an hour or so and then crash. It's as if you can see her growing as you look at her.   I have been absent a lot here - so much going on with my wife's mother now in hospice, my aunt that I've been helping for over a year now moved locally into skilled nursing and the new puppy not to mention the normal things around our house. I get way behind in cutting the grass and am just finally getting the pool ready. Ugh.    Can someone please figure out how to add more time to the day?   I miss the interaction here. But, I'll get things settled soon and be back to my normal....as if I'm at all normal.    Have an awesome day, everyone!!!

Good morning everyone,    Parker started to make noises in his crate with a chew toy at 04:50. I was able to catnap until 06:00 when I had to get out of bed. In my pjs I took Parker outside for a run around the backyard. Gave him his first bowl of puppy kibble and water, then started brewing my coffee. He finished off his kibble and played tag with Sheldon (male cat) in and around the dining room table and chairs. I’m on my second cup of coffee and they are both asleep.    @Birdie you are such an inspiration, be safe and go with confidence into the bathroom of your choice. Most people understand you just need to…   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Now for another push downward from a certain political group in Congress. There is an effort by Congressional Rs to cut funding to any nonprofit group supporting LGBTQ individuals. As reported on the NBC News website (https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/house-republicans-lgbtq-nonprofits-rcna152753), the house appropriations committee is attempting to block Economic Development Initiative funding to any group helping us. Don't you just feel the love. Apparently that loving former vice president we had during Trump's presidency, does not believe that public funding should not be providing funding for at-risk transgender minors. One must wonder how much more hateful some of these individuals will become.

There are some housing assistance links on the internet, but I would recommend contacting an Lgbtq+ community support group in your area, they would know places that are safer for her.

Yes, I have however, her situation wasn't about housing, but rather getting out of a bad relationship. I took her in until it was safe for her to leave, and now she's happy spending time with her daughter.

Have you ever helped a LGBTQ+ person with emeergency housing when their parents threw her out?   We have a Kenyon MTF who just graduated yesterday in need of housing as her parents disowned her and she doesn't have a job yet. I want to help but am not sure I can.
