Despite the few Conservative MP's we have doing everything they could to stall, bloat, overload and hamper the process - the bill has finally passed, so over 16's will no longer need to go through the medical dysphoria diagnosis route to change their certificates, 16-17yo will sign a declaration to say that they have been living as their acquired gender for 6 months, and for us over 18's we'll sign to say we've been living our best lives for 3 months, with the threat of 2yrs in jail or an unlimited fine if we're lying.

Great news!  Thanks for posting this, @DeeDee.  These days, with all the haters, you'd have to be certifiably nuts (is it "bonkers" in the U.K?) to lie about being trans.
