My name is Raphael,

I am a 17 year old amab gay guy who only learned about the trans community two years ago. For most of my life I never thought about my gender. I didn’t really care about gender or knew there was a difference between sex and gender. Once I new of trans people and their struggles I wanted to be an ally for them. Last year I was questioning my gender for the first time. I realize so far that I don’t think I’m a women because when I think of being a women, I get a headache. I can’t really try dresses because of my environment, but I have wore a high slippers that my mom owns and allows me to wear. At first I was uncomfortable with it because I thought someone would judge me. But now I sore of like them. My parents aren’t really fans of gay let alone trans people(their does the types that « ok » with other people being that way but not « their children » and I’m afraid of telling my cousin who accepted me as being gay because I fear that she would see this as me stealing the spot light of trans people.(even though she believes that invalidating trans people’s identities is wrong) Right now I’m wander if I fall somewhere in the masculine area. (Maybe I’m cis and I’m just confuse about my gender) I trying to say to myself that « I’m a man » or « I’m a cis man » to see if I like it but I don’t know how I feel about it. Sometimes I like it but usually don’t feel anything about it. I also like agender and non-binary but I’m not sure if I’m that. I try hypnosis to see what my gender is but I still don’t know how I feel. (I do feel better after doing hypnosis though) so does anyone have any advice for this or a clue about what my gender could be???

Welcome @Raphael Siewen! Lovely to have you!

I'd suggest You and Your Gender Identity: A Guide to Discovery as a precursor to whatever you want to try next. A gender therapist (that would be a therapist that specializes in gender issues) would be the logical next step if you're still looking for answers. There's a whole, wide world of alternate gender expression. In my friend group personally, I have people from binary trans, to agender, to gender-fluid, to bigender, to non-binary trans and a pile of people who just identify as queer. I wouldn't worry about labels so much as just working out what makes you feel comfortable.

Best of luck and we're always here if you have questions or need support!

Hugs!

Welcome Raphael! Glad you're here. It sounds like you've found gender isn't binary, this is the beginning of a journey where you get to find for yourself who you are. I hope you find the wonderful support, advice & acceptance here as I have.

Hugs!

Welcome @Raphael Siewen! It’s very nice to meet you. IMHO, it takes some time and experience in the world to figure out exactly where you fit on any of these gender, sexual orientation, and gender expression spectrums. Even then, your core identity can seemingly change with a single new relationship or new experience unleashing new feelings and new understanding about what you want and need. You may even find your place on these spectrums just to find out you’re more fluid that you thought. Some are luckier than others and find their authentic selves early in life. Others, like myself, have taken a lifetime to figure it out. I wish I could answer your question more specifically but I think it’s something you’ll have to experiment a little to figure it out on your own. Have fun out there and stay safe!

Warmest Regards,

Susan R🌷

My kitty has a litter box, which she uses on occasion.  But she prefers to make me get up to led her out. I could install a "cat door" but I'm afraid it would be used more by the possums and raccoons.  I have had possums in the house more than once - even without one.

I read it on medium.  I have an account but I don't remember paying that much for it.  Sorry.

Isn't it amazing, how animals have it all over us!   Good luck!

Good morning everyone,   It was our first night with our European Boxer and it went well. We got up at 05:30 let him out of the cage and went directly outside to give him a chance to go potty. It has been raining for two days and nights so the grass is soaked and nearly up to his belly. I don’t think he’s ever been outside while it’s raining or wet. I had my rain jacket on and a big brimmed hat as well as rain boots, he just stayed at my feet no matter where we went in the yard. I took him to the previous locations where out daughter’s dog had gone poo, but he just sat at my feet. Once inside and drying him off with a towel. He took a poo right there. So I gathered up his mess, and took him and his poo outside. So right now it’s dog one, trainer zero. Now that the coffee is brewed and I have a cup, he’s chewing on a toy.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Strange that I awoke from a dream dreaming about "being able to pee standing up!"   I know that sounds strange from someone AMAB, but intersex issues have always prevented that.    I wonder what made me dream like that? That was a first! 🤔

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow
