Talbot's Winter Sale

I checked the forum rules and think this is OK to post. I'm not selling nor am I an employee. But, Mods please let me know if I've transgressed.

 

Just as an FYI, Talbot's is clearing out its winter collection of clothing with substantial discounting this weekend - up to an additional 70% off the discounted price. While I'd never pay full price for their clothing, I have purchased some sweaters, skirts and blouses during the recent sales - with prices in the $20 to $30 range. My wife has an account which yields free shipping, as well, but even with shipping you're getting great quality for value pricing.

 

As an example, I ordered this sweater for $28.

 

 

Shopping these sales has been a great way to expand out my wardrobe.

I have a ritual of always checking clearance racks in any store I visit.  I enjoy seeing what's out, and although I often don't find anything worth buying even at 70% off, every once in a while I'll find a gem. Part of the fun of shopping for me👚

My wife has always been the Queen of the Sale Racks. She heads to the back of any clothing store to look at what's there. It has been so much fun for me as we've begun to shop for bargains together - especially since I am really just beginning to fill out a functional wardrobe. Talbots' sizing seems to work well for my body and, while their normal prices are way beyond my range, catching the deeply discounted sales have yielded a few nice outfits. I may be a season behind....but I'm just now catching up on life, anyway. 😁
