My Church Interviewed Me for a Podcast

My Episcopal church, here in Queens, has done some podcasts where parishioners talk about their personal experiences. I'm out at the church, and the priest who produces the podcast series walked beside me through the last part of my coming into my gender identity. The focus of my interview is reclaiming my male identity fifty years after I first knew that I wanted to be a boy at age 16. Ahd there's a lot about my relationship with God and church. Good work there.  I was in a documentary film shown to my Diocese of Los Angeles when our former Bishop retired.  At one point, my interviewer quipped to me that I had just given a sermon.  My statement was cut down a bit, but it is fun and affirming, I still get compliments and an recognized many places because of it.  This is the Good Fight.

No, I am sorry it is not.  The goofy truth was, that it was shown at a retirement / Mission Share fundraising even involving my retiring (sadly now deceased) former Bishop.  I was at the dinner but was seated under one of the loudspeakers for the video being played and as a result could not really hear what parts of my interview were included and could not wholly see the screen to read my own lips.  I got an idea of what they had put out there from people coming up to me as the dinner ended but that was it.  Your interview here was great and understandable.
