YO!
My name is Goose/Alex,no preference between the two! Im nonbinary,I use they/den(dey/den/der/denself) and I’m aro-ace.

I like a lot of stuff however I think my biggest interests are dogs! My favorite breeds(slightly in order) are Siberian huskies, lacys, German sheps ,Belgian mals,Am staffies, pitbulls, mini Aus/Am sheps, border collies, Airedale terriers, old English sheepdogs,Finnish lapphunds(spitz type woofers are just super pretty but especially these dudes and huskies),otter hounds,Irish wolfhounds,Scottish deerhounds, Great Danes, Saarloos wolfdogs,Bernese mountain dogs, and Neapolitan mastiffs. But I seriously love all dogs regardless of the breeds.

my favorite book is loveless by Alice Oseman followed by a dog’s courage by Bruce Cameron, Dash and Duke both by Kirby Larson.

I also do art pretty often,I’d like to say I’m pretty good with it. I usually work with watercolors, pencils, markers or whatever works at that moment but I’ve been messing around with digital art too.

that’s about it for now, glad to check this place out!

Hi & welcome @Goose . I'm also nonbinary and ace. I have a Siberian husky and an Australian kelpie. They are my precious babies. Many people have not heard of kelpies - they are more common in Australia as working dogs. They have a somewhat similar temperament as border collies - SUPER intelligent, driven and talented.

Have you read "Dog Stories" by James Herriot? If you love dogs, it's a must read.

Nice to meet you @Goose! Welcome to our support forums. I currently don’t have a dog but growing up, I had many dogs ans pets and I miss the craziness they provided me while growing up (though not the responsibility). You sound like a very multifaceted person with many interests and it’s nice to have you here within our ranks. Glad you found us!

FWIW: My favorite breed is the Golden Retriever but Siberian Huskies are right up there too!

Warmest Regards,

Susan R🌷

Welcome Goose.  We have two dogs on the farm.  Both are workers as well as lovers.  Zelda is my wife's certified service dog. A black lab she is amazing in what she can do.  She even tugs the laundry basket to the washing machine.

Casper is a cross between an ackbash and central asian herding dog.  He lives with the sheep and at 150
+ lbs he keeps the coyotes well away from his flock.  He is also a big lover unless his charges are threatened.

Hugs,

Charlize

Thanks! And I don’t think I’ve ever been called or heard the word multifaceted but it actually kinda fits!

Welcome Goose! I am not really dog friendly, but I do like seeing them and petting but I have had a history of dogs being aggressive and bit me and almost bit my kids so I'm more of a reptile kind of girl. I've held some snakes and didn't get bitten.
