Would like to hear about the timeline for complete electrolysis hair removal timeline. I hear about 2 yrs from my Electrologist. Many say 5. Please let me know in your comments the time you all went through.  I'm getting it done and surprisingly have a high tolerance for the zap level, Level 6 is used and its a very modern machine. Still I have some really stubborn hairs that take 6 zaps to get the root loose.

I did five years of electrolysis.  The first three years were one hour a week.  Then a year of one every two weeks and a year of once a month.  I took the last year off, but I need to go back again.  There are a few patches of facial hair that are undead.

hi, I haven't made it to electrolysis yet, just starting laser. 1 company sounded like 2to3 years, but one I'm going with sounds like 1 year and done other than touch ups later. then electrolysis to clean up face n groin.

@Padma, I did laser hair removal on my thick, dark beard for 8 sessions every 6-8 weeks. This mainly eliminated the dark hairs. Since late January of last year, I have been doing 1 hour session every week. Electrologist think it will still take another year at least, as she has not started on the chin and just started on the upper lip.

It may take a couple years to finish the job at least.

Thanks all, My Electrologist did suggest a Laser to get rid of stubborn dark ones. I have a blend of dark and gray ones. . I'm about 25 sessions on upper lip with electrolysis. Still my mustache shadow line is clearly visible even on make up . I still grown a few dark hairs with gray ones. I will try Laser and see how it works in tandem with Electrolysis.

My cheeks are mainly cleared now following the agenda I followed. I have had 2 additional laser treatments though only limited to a few stubborn spots.

I am doing only electrolysis on my upper lip area. Chin has not been touched as yet. It should not be difficult once started.

I have being doing a Laser session once a month (with a year plus interruption cos of covid) The results came in patches as it were, quite a bit then nothing for maybe a year then some more improvement. Another pause and then another period of improvement. Patience
