House Republicans are stuffing a veterans appropriations bill full of anti-LGBTQ+ measures

If this goes through it could hurt a lot of us who get care from the VA.

They will accuse the Democrats of voting "against veterans" if they vote against the amended bill.  Such hypocrisy.

These amendments have no chance in the Senate, and I've read that they will almost certainly be eliminated during conference committees.  Nevertheless, they show us where the mindset of the R's are, and that it is their stated intention to eliminate us from every aspect of American life if and when they regain control of the three levers of government.

I used to be so stupid and vote republican but as each day goes by I seem to have hateful feelings towards them. I don't see myself ever voting republican again unless all of a sudden they use their brains. This sickens me I really hope it gets stopped.

These are not your parents or grandparents Republicans, @Ashley0616.  There were always some hateful, hypocritical & spiteful R's back in the day, but today, almost all "moderate" Republicans have fled the party, and who's left are interested only in keeping power, whatever the cost to the Nation & the planet, & spreading hate as far as the eye can see. (IMHO, of course).

I don't think you need the:  "(IMHO, of course)."     The GOP is just a puppet of the oil and other industries using hate, fear and "religion" to get power.
