My name is Michael. I am a 19 year old transman from Pittsburgh, Pa. I have been out socially since middle school but because family issues I have just started hormone therapy recently. Woohoo! I am looking for advice/guidance on the road that lies ahead of me from my trans-elders who are far more experienced (or some buddies would be cool lul!). It's wonderful to meet you all!

Welcome to Trans Pulse, Michael!  Nice to meet you.  Well, you're in luck because we have a lot of great guys (and gals, too) to offer advice and answer questions. Clearly, I'm one of the latter, so I'll let our trans men join in when they can.  In the meantime, congrats on the HRT, and feel free to post questions or comments in any of the forums.  We'll be here for you.

Congratulations @mikoid on this recent development and the ones soon to be coming your way. You’ve joined an excellent forum for support, allies, and often friendship especially for those early in their transition. I hope you find our forum as beneficial as I have over the years. As @Carolyn Marie mentioned above, there’s so much valuable information and so many members here that can give you solid advice and answers to questions on most of your transgender related issues and topics. Congratulations! I can definitely relate to family issues. I didn't come out till much later. I don't regret it though because I just wasn't ready. Enjoy HRT I have been on it for five months now. I have experienced some changes already. In a few months you should experience some. I wished MTF hormones facial hair would go away but it's ok. Welcome!
