gc2b gone downhill

Hello sisters, brothers, and others! Any recs on binder brands? i used to swear by gc2b but they've declined in quality since quarantine. I am kind of bulkier- chest size is a C cup i believe. I've heard good things about sprectrum and wondered if anybody has tried them. Binders are becoming so expensive these days so I have to research lots before i buy (NO MORE TRIAL AND ERROR!!!). I've had NY toy collective in the past and it wasn't great.

Any input is great! Thanks!

NYTC long binder by trans guy supply is the 1st binder I ever got & it's so good. I've tried others just to see if there were any others I liked and quickly realized the NYTC set the bar very high. I am also proportionally big on top and the NYTC does the trick whereas other binders I tried fit terribly. Underworks was so long I covered most of my bum and SO tight that I hurt myself trying to get it off and very prickly/itchy. A brand called unicorn on Amazon had a light weight one I was interested to try for summer, but was so ill fitting that my business was bulging out the sides and top no matter how carefully I tried to arrange everything. I also tried a light compression binder from Urbody with the same issue, major side spillage. I like the trans guy supply binder bc it totally contains my business, I prefer the length bc I don't want something trust fits like a bra, and it gives just enough compression that it's effective without being suffocating. It is pricier, but in my opinion very much worth what you pay for, especially when you consider how much a high quality women's bra is. You got stuff to contain and you need to be comfortable.

Updating my binder reviews ^^^

I am so pleased. I recently tried a new binder from amazon and it's my new favorite and only $22! It's a large chest accommodating tank top like my previous fave (NYTC by trans guy supply which is $49), but softer with slightly less compression and so more comfortable and easier to throw on and take off. I feel one can use it for swimming too although I haven't tried yet. It also comes in 3 colors. It's remarkable how happy an undergarment can make you feel lol.

Update to this update. RE Althlemon binder, strongly recommend ordering two sizes down bc they're big and they stretch. I've had to alter mine on my sewing machine.

I don't bind anymore, but when I did...

Years ago I was using the TomboyX. I have a very large chest and it flattened everything out enough that a baggy shirt made it look great.

I also happen to have very sensitive skin, and the TomboyX is tight, hot, and compressed a lot.

If I used it too much I got heat rashes, but it worked great otherwise.
