I just have a long string of vulgarities for all of this.

Sometimes I worry about myself with the hostility of the state government.  But it is worse for trans minors - especially for those with hostile family.  In some of these states even sympathetic adults are forbidden to support them.

In many parts of the country we are under assault by our own government.

If I could, I also would cuss out how wrong this all is for trans youth, kids and adults to be afraid of living in red states. I'm a trans man living in a red state and I'm currently saving to move either to a blue state like California or maybe out of the country if crap hits the fan if you catch my drift.

Nobody should have to be afraid of loosing their human rights to these wannabe fascist neo-unhealthy politics. I'm so tired of it..I'm tired of books being censored that have LGBT+ content in them and I'm sick of history books being censored by these scumbuckets because the history may be a little "inconvenient" for them. It's taking away from our kids getting the quality education they deserve. But the whole public school system is outdated and needs to be reworked but that's a rant for another day.

In conclusion, tired of our human rights constantly being under attack. I'm constantly afraid I may loose access to my HRt (testosterone) if these bozos gets a wild hair and passes such a law. this type of discrimination is so ridiculous and so hurtful. My heart goes out to my fellow trans siblings in similar situations who can't get out just yet or money being a barrier. Hate cannot win. Trans rights are human rights!

Very scary times we are in. There are wonderful organizations out there fighting for trans rights, including in the courts, that could use all the donations people can afford. Question is, what happens when one or more of the lawsuits against these anti-trans laws gets to the Supreme Court?

That will determine if we have any rights or not.

They claim we have the same rights as everyone else - meaning the right to not transition.

The Supreme Court in recent years has affirmed trans rights (see cases regarding the ADA, job discrimination, etc), but things are still evolving (or rather devolving...), so let's hope they stand by our rights again. Scary times with all the states passing anti trans laws and even the federal House passing an anti-trans sports bill this spring.
