One Decade and Five Years Today!! 10/10/2008 -> Now

Not bragging, and not dragging up old mud.  My GD had been what I was using my alcohol to fight off. Coming clean and coming out a bit early for National Coming Out Day does make a whole heap of difference, and a happy one.  If my computer had not flashed a message to me I just might have lived another day since being sober is now a daily thing of itself and I am grateful for the whole package and the fun and enjoyment of life since then.
