Binders and packers

I haven't used either, but I want to start and want to find good brands, and I need some help with it all because they can get quite expensive, at least to someone like me, who is on benefits and doesn't work.

With binders, I have trouble deciding which one to get and how the sizing works because I have bigger breasts, but one side is a bit bigger than the other, so it often makes me feel like I'm not balanced, and my breasts are the biggest source of my dysphoria. I have tried transtape, but this wasn't a fun experience. I have mostly been using sport bras, but these ones I don't like too much. I would like to be comfortable, so been wondering whether the long binders would be better than the short ones.

With packers, it's hard because I need something I could wear even during my periods. I only use period pads.

I want to get a good fit with both binder and packer on the first try. I don't want to have to buy a new one because the old one didn't fit.

i want to hear about your experiences, about any tips or maybe you have other kinds of information.

@Raini I don't know how what's available in your country differs from what's available to me in the US. But, I can relay that as someone who also has a big chest, I like long binders better. I also prefer the way they feel as wearing a bra-shaped garment causes me dysphoria and physical pain.

The best binder I've tried is this one, but it's expensive. They fit true to the given size guide. https://transguysupply.com/products/nytc-long-binder

I recently got this one from Amazon. It's less expensive but comfortable and accommodates large chest. I didn't like how thick the shoulder straps and collar were, so I tailored that on my sewing machine. They run large and also stretch. I ordered one size down from what's indicated on their size chart, and after wearing for a while, I think I could have sized down 2 sizes. Good thing I have a sewing machine. https://a.co/d/6FNp6VL

Again, I don't know if either of these companies ship to Estonia. If not, maybe this can help inform your shopping.

For measuring, as far as one side of the chest being larger, just inhale and then take the overall girth of your chest at the widest point (usually across nipples). Then when wearing the binder you can shift the breasts around to arrange them so that they are as flat as you can get them. Tip: I usually lie flat on my back after I put on the binder so that gravity makes them settle down flat in a rather uniform way and then adjust as needed.

Sorry, I have no feedback about packers as I don't wear them.

Thank you very much. This is already very helpful. And yes, with sport's bras I hate, when the lenght is a bit longer than a bra and with short binders I'm afraid it would feel the same, which is why I'm thinking the feel of the longer ones would be better for me. If it males sence. The sports bras that are a little longer the edges always roll up and is uncomfortable.

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow

Hello we are The lake. So called because This One has not determined a name for oneself but has in a way created an environment to try out multiple names as different people. Currently Some of us use she/her pronouns and one uses he/him. We hope to learn more about being transgender and the intricacies involved. Once again it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope to be of further help in the future.
