This one is confusing as all get out.  The suspect was a victim of rape herself it seems???  A third of the article is about her assailant, who got only the minimum sentence??   Even though I generally respect CBS, I have problems with this whole story.

Not much detail on the assault on the minor, but it certainly looks bad.  I'm sure the trans aspect will get plenty of coverage.

I'm sure this will see a bunch of publicity.  The usual voices will be sure to use this as an example of how we're all deviants who are just waiting for the chance to do something awful to kids. 😒

Yes, when those on the right use one incident to condemn the entire community, they forget to apply that "standard" to all the conservative politicians, clergy and business leaders who have been tried and convicted of sexual assault on children, or child porn.  Dangers in the restroom: why yes, check on your local priest!

Unacceptable and horrendous regardless of who the perpetrator was.  But, Yes, the conservative Right will use this in all their talking points and maybe even to bolster legislation efforts. 

I understand these are just Charges, and she is afforded Due Process.  But if they do find she did the crime, she will have to do the time.  There's no justification for this.

I haven't heard about it on other local news and we are pretty close to Philadelphia.  Unfortunately i am sure that it wii be red meat for the GOP.

Agreed. It will play big in the PA legislature especially as the GOP tries to regain the PA House majority in the coming election.

I must agree. Fox will make this out to be worse than the holocaust, and they will not say one word if it all turns out to be a false accusation. With Fox, we seem to get demonized for just breathing.

Folgers in general is my go-to for a no hassle cup o joe.  Black Silk is good, but I mostly get things going with the classic blend.

I received a nice hand crank coffee grinder for a holiday present.  But to be honest, I'm a lazy thing when I get up.  I just want coffee.
