Ohio, Michigan Republicans In Released Audio: "Endgame" Is To Ban Trans Care "For Everyone"

I don't think this is a surprise for anyone here.

Some of the quotes are just… I mean, yeah they flat out say it when they're talking to each other.

"Audio from a small Twitter Space featuring legislators from Ohio and Michigan was automatically posted [must have been a glitch] publicly, wherein Republican legislators revealed the "endgame" of anti-trans legislation was to ban trans care "for everyone.""

"Towards the end of the Space, the conversation shifts to a plan for the "endgame," where Towards the end of the Space, the conversation shifts to a plan for the "endgame," where Republican legislators and anti-trans activist Prisha Mosley discuss various plans aimed at "banning this for everyone," referring to gender-affirming care. "

"Representative Click then responded, "That's a very smart thought there. I think what we know legislatively is we have to take small bites.”

"The other thing is Planned Parenthoods; they pass out hormones like candy, he's put a stop to that. That's one of the places a lot of adults go. There's also Euphoria and Plume."

"Representative Shriver continued by arguing adults consenting to gender-affirming care should not be allowed"

"Prisha Mosley, an anti-trans detransitioner and right-wing political figure, lauded the discussion, "I did want to say that I've kind of been waiting for a state or a representative or anyone to be brave enough to address that... you cannot consent to a lie."

" These freshly released recordings provide an important look into the endgame of anti-trans legislation: the elimination of transgender people from public life entirely"

Scary stuff, that.  What makes them believe they have a right to mess with people, to tell people what health care they can or can't get?  What gives them the right to decide anyone's private health matters?  It's all just pure hate of the "Other."

That is a perfect description of how we got to the point where the government can control healthcare and personal decisions.  They've been taking little bites out of freedom for a very, very long time.

Want to know the REAL endgame?  Read 1984 and also the Book of Revelation.  The real plan is total submission to government and a government-based false religion.  No ability to buy or sell without total submission and tracking.  No profit to one's labor - just bare subsistence.  World population reduced to between 500 million and 1 billion.  Its the biggest planned genocide ever...plague, famine, poisoning, and war to be used as depopulation tools (already starting).

Yes, people can "consent to a lie."  That's been happening for a long time now, on multiple levels.  Being transgender isn't the lie, the lie is how we became transgender.  We're frontline victims of the lie, of big government oppression, of corporate pollution of our food and water, and medical terrorism.  These Republican legislators are just one facet of the disgusting New World Order jewel.  Always interesting how the elites talk to each other when they think the common folks aren't listening.

One of our big problems coming from social media today is that every chest puffing wanna be politician talks as tough and nasty as he can.  Yes, bills can be introduced, and individual hot air balloons can try to make them fly, but so far most of it is just what I am saying.  All hot air blow and loud bangs as the bubbles burst.  They are, to quote an author I love, "too lazy to be a farmer, too untrustworthy to be a bank clerk, but they can preach amazing sermons".  Yes, this did describe a fictional evangelical preacher who had been elected U.S. President who changed the name of the office to U.S. Prophet.  This may work for a short time, but there are Ethics based organizations even today that while not hitting the air waves, are upholding their members and others who will be in a place to bring that phenomena down and then replace it with what is hoped to be a better community for all of us.

@VickySGV I'm kind of a sci-fi nerd, so I'm about 95% sure you're making a Heinlein reference. 😉

"Along comes a knothead with a loud voice, an I.Q. around 90, hair in his ears, dirty underwear, and a lot of ambition. He’s too lazy to be a farmer, too stupid to be an engineer, too unreliable to be a banker-but, brother, can he pray!"

While I certainly don't agree with everything Heinlein wrote, his stuff is certainly thought-provoking.  Sad that his books have never been turned into decent films.

Well, the conservative think tanks have been pushing this stuff. They have the five de-transitioners who seem to pop up at every state vilifying transgender folks at every turn, and you have Republican politicians acting like they are the Taliban. I could say more, but I do not want to violate the terms of service and get banned. History seems to be repeating itself in multiple ways. We bother nobody by transitioning and yet they want us thoroughly humiliated and dead.

When they started passing these laws in NC, I wrote an email to my state senator.  His office replied with a link to a detransitioner video.   So now at least I know how things stand.

I read and listened to this article on Erin’s blog.  I found the tone of the conversation disgusting, and they seemed to be self-congratulatory on how far they could take things.

Well, they’ve been trying (and doing) this with abortion care also.  So they know how to do it.  For those particular states, the courts may be the only way to stop them until they can hopefully get voted out … someday?
