Trans People and Biological Sex: What the Science Says

I saw this on YouTube.  It's a video by Julia Serano.

Her book "Whipping Girl" influenced me when I was starting my transition.

It's kinda long, but might be worth a look.

This is a bit on the long side, (55 minutes) but Julia Serano is up to her highest standards here.  I am glad that I have read two of her three books that she cites here and admit I had to wade through them a bit slowly to understand the information she was giving but her basic contention is that all Sex and Gender is very complex and the people who try to simplify it frustrate themselves and become tyrants over other people in doing so.  In my mind, this site illustrates her main point that each of is different in how we became Trans or IS or NB and that there is NO SINGLE WAY it comes about, but all the ways come completely from properly functioning  cells, genes, epigenes and body protein chemistry.

Yes. Even Charles Darwin would agree. Life is almost too diverse to imagine.
