A Little Help/advice

I need to talk to someone about me, and my sexuality or lack of it, and my gender or lack of it.

The problem is that I lack the cash/insurance to actually see a therapist. I realize that the amount the charge per session isn't that great, but it is out of the range that I could afford for more than a session or two a year. I don't think that one or two sessions a year would help. I don't begrudge what the therapists charge, I understand that they have spent much time and money to get their degrees and training.

So does anyone out there have a suggestion for me. I want a face to face meeting.

Here is absolutely the only thought that comes to me on this subject.

Locate your nearest LBGT center, most have a clinic for treating the most prevalent problems at greatly reduced prices or sometimes even free.

Some offer counseling and that would be a good way to start but be aware scheduling will be difficult, I had to wait three months between my blood tests and now when I will actually see the doctor this month for my hormones - I could have seen the same doctor at his practice about 10 days after the blood work but I can't afford an office visit - he works for free at the clinic and the bloo test were about one quarter of the price anywhere else.

Try that and I hope you can work something out.

Seriously - it is a probelem, and even if you can't afford it very often, you might want to find a gender specialist therapist and see he/her once or twice - explaining the situation. They might have a suggestion or two, things we don't know about in your area.

Thanks, I'll have to find the nearest and see what I can find out.

I'm not all that worried about the medical parts, well maybe a little, but since as Transgendered I would MTN.

Well I found the nearest LGBT center, and it is located at the local university. It is also apparently the only one with in a reasonable distance. So I stopped by during their office hours, only to find it closed

I used their contact form to find out when would be a good time to find them open. It's pain, because I work nights, and getting on campus is a pain.
