MTFs and any others are free to answer too. :) I love you all. *gives a big manly hug to all*

So I've noticed something, that never really made any real impact on my 'brain' till lately. Today my friend and her dad came over, they know about me and have no issues. Apparently they saw it coming. lol Well, I was taller then her dad. That was cool, I'm taller then most people in my family cept a few of the guys - who are 6'0. I'm taller then my step dad, too.

As I've posted a few times, I'm 5'9, would that be in a 'guys?' normal height range(I'm 100% Caucasian), but on the shorter/middle side. I know many guys are short too, but there are a lot of tall guys.

For the others, what are the other FTMs height range on here? How does it effect you, have you noticed you're taller then some/few/lots of other guys? Tell me all about you.

I think I might be 5'5 or 5'6.

Most guys I know are taller than me, and a fair amount of my gal friends are too. Dx

I think I'm 5'3"-5'5" some where in there...it kinda depresses me because everyone else besides my mom and grandmother are taller than me by almost 5 inches ._.

I'm 5'6" and I'm hoping I get a few more inches on T!! You're in a decent range. :) I'm about as tall as my mom and dad. We're not a tall family. But when I'm surrounded by adult men I feel like I'm a guinea pig surrounded by cats! O_O Partly cause of their masculine features though... I'm so jealous. Most younger guys are taller nowadays...

5'7, I found that I grew about 2 inches ow0

I'm shorter than most guys my age, (bio guys that is) but they don't seem to care. All that matters is that I'm taller than most girls my age, so~~ PLUS SHORTNESS=STEALTH. INCREDIBLE STEALTH AND SNEAKINESS.

Plus in Asia... my Japanese teacher said I'd be incredibly tall XD (he is 'average' height for his country, and he's about 5 inches shorter than me!!)

Lol, all the young guys at my school, around the age of 17, are like 6'9" or that's what it feels like. My tallest friend is 6'11" ...I hurt her neck when she talks to me. She should just sit down from now on :P

I'm a little over 5'7.5'' so I round up...

I'm taller or as tall as a few people I know. However, I went to orientation for my university and realized that I'm as tall as or taller than the majority of the people who were there. I think it helps that while my high school is predominantly white, my university is mostly asian/hispanic

I'm 5'. Yup, five foot even. Definitely on the short side. It's very rare that I come across anyone who's shorter than I am, and most the people who are shorter have a medical condition to explain it.

5'4, and shorter than everyone in my family, including my sister and mother. It gets very discouraging when most guys AND girls are taller than me, but I try and think of all the successful short guys. Martin Scorsese, Seth Green, Danny DeVito, and so forth.

I'm about 5'5". Mother is 5'3", father is 6'4", and younger brother about 5'8". My dad towers over most people around here, so growing up I always thought I was going to end up tall. :(

Three of the other guys who've worked with me for the past year were around my height, and I've had a good amount of male customers who were my height or shorter. I guess I'm average in NJ, but it sucks to see women who are taller than me on a regular basis. I'd love to grow a few more inches on T, but I doubt it, since I stopped growing a long time ago. But I can always hope.

Hmm so I'm just a little bit taller then your shortest nephew.

Yes - but except for my grandmothers and one grandfather - we are a very tall family.

I think I read the average male in the USA was 5'-9"? I was amazed. In the deep south we have some VERY tall people - I guess its the grits for breakfast.

I suppose that would apply to Canada too. I have a middle sized family on my mothers side, no ones crazy tall. My bio father however, is a full german, blond, blue eyed and REALLY tall.

You are tall!!!

I work out to make up for being shorter. I'm one of those guys where they go "He's short but he's stocky". Yeah.

I'm about 5'5-5'6, but I come from a short family. My dad is only 5'8, my mom's 5'3, my older sister is 5'4, and my twin sister is 4'11. So I don't feel too bad around family. I have noticed I'm shorter than most bio-guys, but I also have quite a few bio-guy friends who are my height. I guess it just depends!!

I am 5'9" as well...of my three adult sons, I have 1 about my height (probably closer to 5'11") and 2 that are 6'2"+. Their biological father was not much taller than me, but my family has very tall males (up to 6'6") for caucasions in this area of Texas! My partner (all woman from the get go) is a whopping 4'11" in shoes...just like I like em...lol! I surely know that dynamite does indeed come in very small, compact packages! According to the charts I guess I am an average man, and she is holding the anchor for the women! Thanks for the poll...interesting!

Hi Mae Be, whenever it comes to makeup, there are so many different bands to choose from. Picking out the right makeup comes with trial and error, until you find one that works for you and blends well with your skin tone, some makeup products can leave the skin feeling oily. It's a good idea to look at the labels on the makeup product to know what the creators put in the makeup, just in case skin allergies. Once you found the makeup brand, you can add it to your shopping list, good luck

To be fair I’m pretty lost when it comes to makeup technique. I’ve watched videos, but I have no idea what works for or would help my features. So I just bungle along, hoping I don’t look terrible.

There's many words to describe the same idea -- excellent, good, amazing, incredible, great, and other synonyms, for example. It's a shame that some people can't realize that the reason that so many words exist is that it's the human experience; There's a million ways to feel the same exact thing, or to express it. That includes gender. Not everyone wants to express their gender the same way, trans or no. If we try to say in order to be trans, you have to do a, b, and c, you deny all those "flavors" and "hues" that make up the human experience.   That's just my five cents, though

I think the first thing may be to realize we have shared interests and shared opposition.  I read an article not long ago by someone who decided to non-op and non-hrt and her transgender friends basically decided she was a traitor and not really trans and had no right to speak on trans issues.  She said many trans people say you aren't really trans unless you do the whole surgical route and legal, etc.  Some insist on the gender binary, others insist on a spectrum.  There must be an agreement to disagree.  Not all of us here have the same viewpoint or the same experience or the same condition.  But we can identify common interests, like walking into a public restroom without fear of arrest, or the right to medical care.    The divisions are severe, heart-felt, and real, but from a practical point of view we need to lay some of those aside when we can for the common interest.  Some of those we cannot lay aside because of personal integrity, but we can work across the aisle, so to speak, something sadly lacking in the public arena today.

Thanks Vicky!  I made a mistake with my topic heading, I consider myself as a Lady but I know that not everyone here thinks that way so I apologize for that.   I should say Hi everyone!! 💗 Cynthia
