Pauses In Breast Development

Since my breasts have started hurting again,oh goodie.

I thought I would give a word of encouragement to new girls and

those of us just hitting our stride.Your breast pain of growth will

come and go.If they quit hurting, have no fear, your new best friends

grow in cycles. They can hurt all the time, for a month or more, then, quit.

They will pickup again. As the nodules start to fill your full breast, you will

feel the pain move around.Sometimes the tips hurt, sometimes the

sides, other times the whole breast. It is at about two years that you see

the shape really start to look mature, with rounding on the bottom, top

and sides.Good things come to those who wait. ;)

Happily in pain,

Angelique

LOL...skyy........that's a good one, Honey!

I know that I like the associated pain with the growth...it's very affirming to me ...a little reminder that something is going on there!

Sure, to some of you who've been at this a long time, it may seem like old hat and like wearing a bra...a pain....

But, don't spoil it for those of us who are new and just getting started with all of the newness and wonder of what's happening to our bodies!

This is all wonderful....except for the occasional file cabinet drawer incedent!

Well just a hint. If you use the pill under the tongue method - make sure you switch sides - to keep development even.

With an 8 year break between HRT I still ended up with D-cups. So yes...there can be a huge pause before a growth spurt.

Actually,

Your dominant side will always be anywhere from a half size(me) to a full size smaller than her

big sister. This is common in gg's as well as we transladies.Rarely do you see those perfectly

symetrical breasts that we all wish we had, unless you get augmentation.

I have been on HRT for several months. The girls are getting a little bigger, but not much. My nipples though are changing a lot and I often wear an undershirt to keep them from being too noticeable through my shirt. Also, why not much bigger, my breast are changing shape. In a wierd way I enjoy the slight pain in them. It lets me know something is going on there. The thing that stincks is my boyfriend will forget they are sore when he gives me a big bear hug. I will be like ouch! Watch the girls.

I think I am about a couple months away from going full time. I cant wait!

Yes those puppies sure do get and stay sore at the begining.

From what I can see,you will do quite well in fulltime.Making the jump is worth it.

Thanks. It depends on where I am in a few months. If I can't pass, I will wait until FFS.

Probably for the same reason I'm disturbed about penis posts.

It took being around and befriending some FTM's for me to see the guys side.

Going in opposite directions,we both want nothing to do with who we once were.

Seeing the guys rejoice at a flat chest, proud of their chest scars, getting a hairy

body,growing facial hair,peeing standing up.To a woman,it's oh how gross and

no thank you.So now you know how the ladies feel.

Listening to all you lucky gals who managed to get on hrt before rle makes me feel backwards doing things the way I was forced to. However Im fully out now and just waiting to get HRT going (Aug 12 according to my shrink). I have a dr appt on the two month anniversary of my RLE, and Id better bleedin well get my hormones at that time. The shrink said he would authorize it, now the question is how much can I trust him.

I pass very easily, never thought this day would come, and without any FFS.

When my time comes,I will opt for a little feminizing, but not much,I don't

need to spend a fortune to make myself totally believeable.Lucky Girl.

Having female breasts seems very much central to my womanhood and reading this thread I suspect I am not alone. Everytime I put on a bra it feels like i am paying homage to my breasts and celebrating my womanliness. Yes, breasts do grow in spurts and each growth spurt is something to celebrate and feel joyful about. The good news is that they will continue to grow as you become older. For all of you younger women I share your excitement about your growing breasts. Having female breasts is something that brings an emotional bond with each other for sure. For me it was a long journey from feeling ashamed of my breasts to enjoying them and feeling proud about being able to fill a c-cup bra and eventually feeling comfortable in public displaying what God endowed me with.

mine are growing again. its crazy, i wonder if its normal to develop this quick. i've almost got an A cup, and its been a little more than 2 months. i wonder if something else is going on inside me hormonally besides my pills. anyone else have this kind of experience.

Sweety,

It's an age thing. The younger you are,the faster more complete your transition will be.

Be thankful for finding yourself so young and stopping the T poisoning before it did real damage.

Big Ol Hugs Miss Skyy,(you lucky young thing) ;)

I've been on low dose for a little over 3 months and I have some decent development. I am fairly thin and now I have noticeable bumps under my shirts. I still have pain so something is still going on.

I think some of us MTF people on HRT have a jump start - as they say YMMV - your mileage may vary. I did have some results in two months. they have slowed down - check by measuring under your breasts (band) and then across the widest part. The differenece in inches gives you your cup size. Also expect 'pointy' development and 'rounding' development. Often the pain is in the nipples - sometimes deep - sometimes like a fever rash.

Enjoy your new world.

Wow! Hopefully that encounter is amicable! I can only imagine what might be going through your mind right now!   I was a bit of a prude, I don't even need a whole hand of fingers to count my sexual partners on. Good old fear-based Catholic "sex ed" did its number on me.   I get nervous walking into men's rooms. I don't look the part for the either restroom these days, I guess. I did use the women's at the convention I volunteered at (the restrooms were temporarily made gender free though), it was nice having a stall to use without waiting.   The whole bathroom debate is so stupid. Genital-based restroom assignments aren't going to stop people intending abuse and there are laws for handling them already. It's the fear the laws strike and the conditions they creates is the problem, fomenting distrust and hate. Who cares who is in the stall next to you? Let them pee in peace!

Good morning! Just finishing my delayed coffee after fasting for routine bloodwork.   Just had my annual physical and I came out to my Dr. He was so kind and said if/when I want to start HRT they have a couple endocrinologists who specialize in transition and he could give me a referral. So nice! Not quite ready to jump into that yet, but he was so understanding. Another small step in my social transition. I feel so happy! 😊

I am ambidextrous. I learned to write righty in school so I usually write with my right hand but my handwriting is better if I use my left hand. I use a lefty mouse. I am physically stronger in my left side.

Easy, I have felt the same way, not quite to the point of wanting to quit but sitting there one dosing morning and thinking "what am I doing?". I am in a crazy place right now; family is moving across the country, I am being laid off for the first time in my career and have to find a new job, and I'm in the middle of this gender journey that seems like it makes everything harder than it could be. I'd always been a "man with boobs", even when I was in my 20s and really skinny I had breast tissue, and now I'm accepting of that and want more but in a different way--I don't want to be a man with boobs, I want something different. I am something different, but it's hard because of nearly a half-century of social programing. So I empathize with your struggle, very directly.   I haven't dressed "male" for nearly six months and I just volunteered at a conference with my femme nickname and she/her pronouns on my name lanyard. The whole experience was great, I didn't feel a minute of anxiety or worry. That stuff comes at home, when left to my thoughts. Which is more telling? The comfort being Mae in public or the doubts and worry in private?   When I look in the mirror and see this more feminine me, it calms down the doubts and worry, so I'm starting to allow myself to trust in the former.
    • Lydia_R
Totally!  I started HRT 21 months ago.  I'm 53yo now.  I mostly did not want the feminine genes of my family to take me over.  I told my doctor I wanted athletic breasts.  She has kept me on fairly low doses and I'm avoiding progesterone so far.   It's mostly mental for me.  Taking the pressure off from not having erections is soothing and changes my thinking.  I just want that stuff gone.  I had fun with it, but I'm over it.   I'm extremely happy with what has happened with my breasts.  Perhaps it took more than a year, but they have a feminine, athletic appearance now.  I don't notice changes in the rest of my body.  I've always enjoyed being thin and straight and have no desire for curves.  I can dig that butch with a feminine touch look.  I was upset at cutting my hair, but I'm liking it now.   It's fun to see all these young transwomen in my environment.  Everyone has their own style and the younger generation has a style of their own compared to us older people.   OK, back to baking a pie and doing some knitting....

The time I spent "on the street" was mostly in the woods.  I dislike cities.  Even now my "bathroom" is out in the back yard, and has been for years.  When you're used to it, it's not so bad.  Helps one keep up with the seasons. I have no desire to live on the street in a city. Most of my adult kids live in cities.  It's nice enough for a visit, but I still prefer the country.
