Hey Ladies!!!

This thread has idled waiting for someone to respond to her question.

Being as i tried bunches and bunches of makeup brands...

I can truely say what brand(s) work for me and still be cost effective.

My favorite Foundation...Hands down..Maybelline Superstay Silky.

It has foundation and moisturizers in the same formula seperated in the middle.

I suggest using foam applicators allowing a smooth blend,

Then, use your fingers to finish blending until smooth.

My face powder Is COVERGIRL Clean.

It gives me a good matt finish as it sets the fondation.

I apply with a Blush Brush like the(Bare Minerals Commercial)...Tap And Swirl...Tap And Swirl

I really like the finish...Smooth and Nearly Flawless.

My sister is a Makeup Artist...No she did/will not teach me anything....I learned on my own.

But,she gave me the best Blush i have used hands down....

CLINIQUE #108 Cupid....Excellent shading...Big container also.

After Curling my lashes...Maybelline Unstoppable...No clumping long defined lashes.

I use Ebony on the top lashes Deep Brown on the bottom(Brown Eyed Girl)

Two to three coats one on top of the other no dry time between coats...Great Finish.

Only use the tip of the brush going sideways across the bottom lashes..Avoids gobs.

My EyeLiner(s) are by L'Oreal...Wear Infinite'.

Ebony Black on top and Brownish Black on the bottom.

My best suggestion i can give? Invest in a really good set of face and eye brushes.

Mink brushes are the best...They make putting on your powder and eyes much easier.

The eye brushes will allow you to blend and define your lids with relative ease.(After lots of practice)

Practice applying your eye makeup with both hands.

Easier to line the lids and put on your mascara, instead of reaching across your face.

And the shadow will be easier to match finishes/blending.

I hope that helps some,

My,But I Do Love The Smell And Feel Of My Makeup.

Hugs Ladies,

Angie.

Merle Norman is the only makeup brand I use. It is good quality makeup. They have my shade and the staff have always been exemplary, friendly and accepting. I always get an excellent makeover; which is always fun.
