My tears can be happy, sad, or painful depending on the occasion. I have no trouble crying. I’ve said this before but I think self-love can help unlock tears.

Oh, hi there, @DawnD.   Clothes that fit...I know a whole bunch of guys who happen to have enough natural 'female' curves to absolutely justify their need to wear clothing bought from 'across the aisle' so to speak. It is a matter of physical comfort! Men's clothes don't fit them!   At the end of the day, it is only fabric. It doesn't matter if you need to buy certain clothing to suit your figure or to suit your brain. Things like men's tees are unisex anyway, but women's tees, or tops that look like them, are also usually unisex enough to get away with, while accentuating your natural figure if you have one. You should have absolutely no fear about wearing that sort of stuff in public.   As for leggings, well, that's not my cup of tea, but plenty of people of all genders wear them anyway. Go for it!

I was in a conference last Friday and we noted that there does seem to be an attempt to divide and conquer approach. The very same question came up as to why, and it is as AllieJ has rightly pointed out we are a very small minority. If we were to March on our own, under our own banner then we would be an easy target.

Raindrops aren't teardrop-shaped, but more like flattened spheres or even hamburgers. The smell of rain is a unique scent, often attributed to bacteria released from the soil by raindrops. Not all rain reaches the ground; some evaporates or sublimes before it hits the ground.

Also, @VickySGV is right, removing the t from lgbtqia+ is not gonna stop people thinking we have a fetish. They thought that way before lgbtqia+ was ever coined, and they’ll be thinking it decades hence.    Oh, and intersex is not a sexual orientation.

I work at an lgbtqia+ youth support service with staff made up of folks from all over the rainbow. Since 90% of young people accessing the service are trans or gender-diverse many of us staff are too, but I’m super grateful, as I’m sure the young people are, to have the help of cis queer folks also. After all, it’s not so easy to find trans counsellors, let alone a trans CEO. To me it makes perfect sense to form an alliance with those who are sympathetic to our struggles. All of my cis colleagues seem to realise that the struggles we face as a community outweigh their own, but they can also relate to some degree because of their own experiences of marginalisation. They are all fierce allies.   I’d also like to say, as someone who considers myself generally the most heteronormative person in any queer space, that I’m still very conscious of my queerness in the eyes of straight society. So, while cis queer folks may not understand my struggles with gender, I think I understand their struggles with sexuality. After all, it was homophobic slurs that I was force fed as a teenager, not transphobic slurs. I was categorised as queer in the eyes of straight society from the age of six or seven. If I can’t build alliances with queer folks, I don’t know who I can build alliances with! I think we are stronger together.

Great to hear your good news, Jake.  Congrats and enjoy both the binder and the haircut.  Sometimes "the clothes do make the man."   Carolyn Marie

Thank you, I really appreciate the help! For reference on the style I'm referring to, I'll attach a image of it lol. It's a collage, so you get a variety. To put it short though, it's personalized and childish. I specifically chose masculine ones, for obvious reasons lol.

Ok, I tried to look up the "juminocore" thing and I couldn't get a firm grip on what style that is.  So what advice I have is gonna be pretty generic.  I'm in my mid 30s.  Originally female, but I've been living in boy form for a while now.  My body type is ridiculously slender, and I have no breasts or curves at all because I'm actually intersex.  I think that made things easier for me.    Baggy clothes are a classic, and were generally expected among teenagers of my generation.  Not sure what is fashionable for y'all these days, but I doubt it has changed much.  If you're looking to delete curvy-ness from your appearance, jackets are pretty good.  You can get jackets of varying styles, from dressy to military to practical winter stuff.  Jackets are mostly androgynous.  "BDU" jackets come in a bunch of colors and patterns, like this:   https://www.amazon.com/BACKBONE-Military-Battle-Uniform-Jacket/dp/B0D7797MY8/ref=sr_1_10?crid=2EHG8L4O6TGP9&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.A5ghysS8YVeLhRknLop7c2plZ7YhnEylkZmKp9P-6a4AAMc0Pl1Ji1KQU_kfVXSMtNKDfvQwjDdZFv7cwgfjIXgJ8wx4CGGfEjk_Q6HAY3RpKc0Fn7Ybr8ewjkW7Bp8uMloqgZ8N2HYblKlShlxhOukDmsDoiM-tTHZ1tq6YzMrNU8RPtCQa3UxDpHsT2-xbcknPMaTZZZqAI0MpCJiHNokNvF-paRVeg8Wnx1XzxD3Rmw_O1cvO6NrqDcYan5lJipevGxfPt7QxoC1iPaZ94KT15-YoAeULaQ8swdm6SuI.jR5qcKH-Eqj3X0N1y96Ui7O67o_g2Gq2tyX9qb2DD6M&dib_tag=se&keywords=bdu+jacket&qid=1746765994&sprefix=bdu+ja%2Caps%2C272&sr=8-10   T-shirts (especially loose, long ones) work pretty well.  Polo shirts or button-down shirts work, and there's plenty at thrift stores so you can buy 'em for 2 dollars and get rid of them if you don't like them later.  And shopping in the men's section, the fabric is of better quality.  More durable.  My GF, who is 100% girl, buys men's shirts and rips out the seams to re-tailor them for her curvy figure....entirely because of the better fabric.  Women's clothing tends to be thinner and crappier in general.  Darker colors tend to be slimming, and do well for deleting curves.  If you wear a shirt with stripes or a pattern, make sure the pattern is vertical instead of horizontal.    For jeans, just start shopping for Levis in the men's section.  They have better pockets anyways.  (IDK how girls put up with pockets barely big enough to put a set of car keys inside?)  But any pair of blue jeans that isn't hugging your butt so tight that they look spray-painted will do for a masculine outfit.  Add some worker-style or motorcycle boots in black or brown.  You can get those in the mens section of Walmart, or find them at a farm store like Tractor Supply.   So, some example outfits:    1. Blue jeans, with a black t-shirt and a hoodie 2. Jeans with a black t-shirt and a camo military jacket. 3. Black jeans with a white button-down shirt and a black leather jacket     I'm not very good with hairstyle advice, because it really varies depending on your facial structure.  But you can Google search example pictures, and there are even some sites that you can upload a picture and play with various styles to see how you'd look.  You can work toward something androgynously shorter (like the one in my avatar), or even do something radical like buzz cut on one side and fluffy on the other with colored tips.  Wacky hairstyles are kind of expected for teenagers, so you can go crazy without people assuming anything is changing
