I'm sorry to hear that's what you had to go through but it sounds like it may have led you to something that is working better for you and it makes me happy to hear that you have some supportive family. LOL Maybe. But, I think it might be even harder to find anyone who would want my weirdness then.  I will TRY to be a good friend.  I very rarely say the right thing though, so I apologise in advance.

Hi there!   I'm new here so I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm not the best at these things so sorry if it lands a little awkwardly! I accepted that I was not a cis gendered person a while ago and consider myself transfeminine. I have discussed this with a few people close with me but I am currently living as my assigned gender at birth out in the wild (not well, but I'm managing). Anyway, I am currently married with two awesome kids! I'm a big nerd (see my interests) and I love nature. I'm pretty simple in a way. I'm very content to go on a long nature walk or a scenic drive while listening to my favorite music or audio books or talking with my captive audience (read as friends). I will be going back to school this fall for a bachelors in social work which I will continue to a masters. For years I have wanted to move into a profession where I am helping others like me (neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, addiction recovery, etc.). I am finally to the point where I can make that happen (come h3ll or high water!) and I'm really getting excited for it! Anyway, I have taken up plenty of your time. Thanks for reading! I'm excited to be here and meet new people!

Well, I *am* old. I cannot really go to the gym (hence getting stuff here)    I DO have children, AND, biggest one, I have no idea where one would go to meet people (who might, on a good day be vaguely interested in meeting me)    Plus I live in a very tiny village, and don't drive.    So, essentially, I will be on my own forever.    Ah well. 

Are you really too old or just using that as an excuse?  whats to say that it cant happen for you too

Seems like a not impossible dream!  I wish you ALL the luck and joy with that one!  I, sadly, am too old, and work out by myself here.
