Stp Issues

Anyone out there have hints for STP use? I have the Mango fwiw.

I received it like nearly 2.5 weeks ago and have been using it 24/7. Until last night I think I only sat to pee once as I wasn't sure about using it at work and used a different packer that night.

I practiced at home and did not use it in public until work last weekend and this weekend. I'd say that my success rate with not peeing down my leg was near 100%, except for the residual pee in the receptacle.

Well this past weekend I had a few embarrassing accidents. I put the spoon in place, move all the folds out of the way, hold it over the area, and the next thing I know there's leakage, despite initially controlling the flow 'in case'. Twice at work!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, what else can you do when you place the spoon right over the urethra and hold it in place and it still leaks, even when you're not going full force???

It does seem to happen when I'm more tired BUT! I do spend time positioning it properly; I'm not just in a hurry or careless.

Suggestions???

well, i ended giving up on the STP...i'm not too patient....so i might not be the best source of advice....but sometimes you really need to shove the recepticle back there...if you know what i mean.....sorry, that's all i can think of

I must say Ive had some trouble with stp generally when something is wrong with me or if my confidence is low.. and i dont rush either. like drew said though.. sometimes you really have to put it pretty far back there.. like near insertion. gross i know.. but it might work!

good luck man. im waitin on mine in the mail.. woot!

I felt like I was 6 years old and peed my pants -- not good at work as I work in a professional environment. I did NOT have a change of clothes due to my previous success. I'm still trying to figure out how I missed putting it in place because I do take my time and don't rush and I hold it over the right spot.

Time to carry spare clothes in the trunk I guess for 'just in case.' Nobody noticed but I was concerned about any odors and would spritz myself with the air freshener, LOL. TOTALLY EMBARRASSING!

I ordered a new prosthtetic and am trying to figure out what stp tubing I will use with it. I'm wondering if The Whiz can be modified to fit a prosthetic.

I also meant to add that using a stp gives me a huge psychological boost, so there's no going back. After my second accident in one night I sat to pee and it was privately humiliating. So I really REALLY want to master this.

I'm traveling in July to a campground and my goal is to use the men's room at the pool and use the urinal in the bath house. I just don't think wearing my trunks and rash guard will go over well in the ladies room. And at this particular campground you have to go through the bathroom/bathouse to get to the pool, there is no exterior gate.

I also hope to be on T by then...

Okay, I think I've figured out my issue. I'm a bit slow on the uptake. Anyway, I'd been so focused on making sure the receptacle was over the urethra that I forgot  that the FRONT needs to be pressed in place. I guess I just assumed that if the back part was being held in place that the front was where it needed to be.

DOH!

So anyway so far no more mishaps even when half asleep. Hope that helps someone else who might be getting frustrated with his stp.

Seriously, Ray, subconsciously I pushed my gender issues out of my mind for such a long time because I didn't know that prosthetics and stp devices existed. When I finally realized I had to transition or go insane, one of the first guys I spoke with told me about them and I could have hugged him!! I know some guys think packing is silly and fake and feels weird or whatever, but for me it has given me such a psychological boost to have appropriate anatomy, even if it's made of silicone, and to be able to stand and pee - WOW. It feels so natural I can't imagine NOT packing.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.

I've been wanting a packer for a long time, especially STP... it's something I feel will help me psychologically, just about as much as when I discovered binding and found a method that worked for me. I certainly don't think it's silly.

Lol Thanks for making my day, Ray! I'm impatiently awaiting my "package" in the mail, too.

Somebody on a local list I'm on recommended replacing the medicine spoon with a baby bottle nipple to prevent accidents. I haven't tried it myself, but he swore it worked for him. I think this weekend I'll go get some nipples and a length of tubing and see how it works.

Let me know how things go after the "nipple acquisition" eh? ..couldnt resist...

ive been medicine spooning it and it works ok.. except for occasional splatter from the emptying end which (due to the build of the original medicine spoon) didnt taper well. im sure a little attached tubing would solve this, but i really just want the mailman to bring me what im waitin for.. ya know?

also..i read somewhere that you can also use a turkey baster.. just pretty much cut the bulbous end of it in half (the long way) so youll end up with a cup-like contraption. dont know if i explained that well.. but maybe youll get it.

O.K. Nipples acquired. ;) And I put together an STP device as well. Wow. What a mess. Obviously the guy who suggested baby bottle nipples isn't built like I am. I will give it a 10 on comfort. Practically couldn't feel it ... which was part of the problem. I just couldn't get it positioned properly for anything. It was worse than the medicine spoon, which I've never had complete success with either. Back to the drawing board, I guess. I may be one of those guys for whom STP devices just aren't an option. :(

You never know Jamie. Have you looked into the design of the S.T.U.D.? Maybe that kind of receptacle will work better for you. You can take a look at the site and try to make something similar. Just a suggestion. Im actually still waiting on my STUD in the mail...trying to stay patient.

Is that anything like a mail-order bride? ;) Seriously, though, I'll check them out. Thanks for the tip.

Nope.  I live in a rural area.  Pride events are for city folks.  The normally quiet LGBTQ+ club kind of changes atmosphere during that time, and things get a bit political.  As a non-Democrat, I avoid it.

For me, definitely the size thing.  I'm 5'4" on a good day, and 100lbs.  I can pass as a teenage boy, but never for my real mid-30s age.  And since my husband looks older than his age, I'm often assumed to be his kid.  Or folks think there's something illegal going on.      Also, my lack of the typical aggressive "masculine" demeanor.  I don't really desire the typical masculine social role, nor could I do it even if I tried really hard.  I'm usually quiet and kind of timid.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

No, they are the only provider of services I need an my area. 😑

My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

    • violet r
I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Welcome to the party, M.A.     Sounds chaotic haha, I can confidently say that living with only two children the same age is stressful enough, much less three!
