Going very understated but just to rock some jeans and a stylish top with heeled boots and just to be accepted and recognized as the woman I'd like to be...the stuff that dreams are made of.

I have always wanted to purchase and wear a flowing wedding dress. Going to the bridal shop, trying on different dresses and having the sales ladies adjust my dress would be a dream come true.

I'd like to dress up in a short Christmas outfit and sing Santa Baby.

French Maid was fun, I'll do that again. Girlfriend and girl friend helped, alot! I'll get that one in the gallery soon as I can.

You reminded me to stop at la vie en rose as there are probably XMAS outfits on Sale.

That was one for fun.

Spanish Cowgirl with Bolo Pants and riding boots and a Zoro Hat.

Pretty Sure I started with a wedding dress playing dress up wiyth my brother so thats already done.

I really want a nice pant suit (sorry girls  ) with nice shoes and a linen or silk shirt.

Why? In case I ever go to Espirit.

I've always loved the dresses Gina, Tony Montana's sister wears in the movie. Especially the night club scene where the V neck goes down to the middle of her belly.

But that's like 4 years of Jenny Craig and a million crutches away for me. But sexy!!!

I'm still rather young so I might still make things happen when my finances look less grim,but for now the things I haven't worn but would like to are;

a non-traditional wedding dress, I want the frills and lace and the whole do of being made up and dolled to perfection with sickeningly expensive shoes and jewelry that's only meant for one day.

A ballet outfit, because "I feel pretty, oh so pretty, I feel pretty and witty and..."

A latex catsuit, I love the look and concept of latex and yet I don't own any latex things.

A french maid outfit, and I'd like to work an anime style maid cafe while en fem.

A belly dancer outfit, but my belly could pass as the stage by itself so that will have to wait.

I want to dress like a fairytale princess, the whole royal, elegant and beautiful idea, I just fear reality won't be as kind as to let it look even close to good on me.

I want to wear a serious expression while saying these things seriously but I'm nervously giggling, practice makes perfect I guess.

Been pondering this for awhile.

The final answer is (drum roll goes here), a sari. Just can't have too many color selections.<giggle>

Maybe I will have the opportunity at an upcoming wedding.

OMG, Joann

That would be awesome! (Had to google it cause never knew the name to it) But you know, with that on, it's a guarantee you have to be on the dance floor and shack those hips, especially at a wedding. :) You better Shakira the dance floor, girl! :)

Oddly, or not, i've wanted to wear pretty much all the outfits mentioned and have managed quite a few over the years. My goal now is to get my old 64 R50 BMW motorcycle up and running. Something about black leather pants and jacket, boots, a silk blouse, scarf and black mini dress sounds so appealing. I might just stir up the pack a bit.

Charlize

I absolutely love Japenese Lolita fashion and would like to wear outfits of some of their styles. It is pretty much a young woman / girls thing as the participants generally look very young and doll like (they are made up to be) but crossdressing males are represented too. It is not limited to the younger woman but older women are far less represented.

The main problem with this fashion in most western localities is that it is fairly unusual and, as the object tends to be to look pretty in the extreme, it attracts a lot of attention. The clothes tend to be expensive and not locally available too so making your own may be a good alternative.

I have an outfit which I am working on which can be broadly termed 'Gothic Lolita' (cross between Victorian clothing and French maid) but have not finished it yet (so many things to do lol). I have already promised to post when it's sorted (that was before Halloween) so this is yet another reminder.

One day - I will just do it!

I recently thought of something else I wanted to add to the list, and soon I'll have the opertunity to do just this. Burlesque outfits! Most if not all look exceptionally sexy, and my female cousin and I are going to go watch a burlesque show live next month while dressed for the theme with some other friends. At least that's the plan. My first out-ing Yay.

Some of the other stuff I wanted would be a wedding dress, prom dress, and a french maid outfit; mainly the one from fredricks of hollywood since the style is the sexiest and cutest.

I have always wanted to dress like and look like a real woman. I want clothes and style to the point that no one knows that j am a guy. I know that's not a fantacy like some of the other ones. But I would love to just wear sexy lingerie around the house without feeling ashamed.

But at the same time I want to stay masculine enough to be a guy when I want to and through everyday life. But then I can pass when I want to as well

I would enjoy a medieval gown. Tight fitting bodice and flowing skirts. Unfortunately all the renaissance fairs are too far away to enjoy.

Last year on our trip when we stopped inDodge City i so wanted to dress up as Miss Kitty.

Charlize

A mini (I'd look like a cow in a bull fighter's cape. OK that's out!)

I to some degree look like Miss Kitty when I dress with my corsets on the outside.

Some of the wonderful dresses of movie stars in 50-60s movies. (I wish I could meet a seamstress I could afford.)

A Bravarian girl with the pretty laced bodice holding up my shelf. Braided pigtails and all!

A two piece swim suit that doesn't have a skirt. OK a one piece if this is my year to get my little problem solved. (Remember Jody you may be proud of it then, but keep your legs closed like a Lady. Giggle.)

Most of all a white wedding dress! I would make someone a great wife. Ahh... But I only get to wear that once... Maybe then I will stop crying when I pass by a bridal shop window. (I'll still be a virgin probably, I can tie catnip around my neck and still can't find a kitty to play with me.) (Oh quit complaining Jody!)

Well that's my short list. The very best would be me being my own seamstress or enough money to thrift store shop, never wear most outfits twice and be able to gift my cast offs as soon as they are washed. Yes, I'm a hopelessly romantic dreamer. Hug. JodyAnn

When I was a child I always liked the idea of dressing up as Supergirl. I know you can easily buy the outfit from most fancy-dress stores, but I prefer the authentic costume.

I cast caution to the wind, and entered a lingerie shop in an outlet mall this morning; I bought a bra just for me - my size (it's maybe a tad small though), and wore it the rest of the work day. Absolutely wonderful! I couldn't bring myself to mention it was for me, but I also never said to the clerk it wasn't... Still, it's the first time I have ever bought a bra for me, and I got a couple of delightful panties too!

For me it is to find that perfect sun dress, though I would love to try on a medieval dress.

So the burlesque thing never happened. Kinda sad. I'll get another chance though, I think, eventually... But now I thought about something else.

Formal ladies wear. I want one outfit with with some sheer black pantyhose and kitten heels with a sleek pencil skirt and a nice blouse and blazer. And another that's a ladies suit. With the bootleg pants and some nice heels. Looks classy and sexy. I just can't do nice hair styles because I have satellite dishes for ears.

I got the sun dress--not perfect so but looks ok, I love wearing it in the morning before work. I guess that gives me a reason to shop for another one. :)

frustration:  the frustration of creative instinct is a notorious evil of the machine age : the state or an instance of being frustrated. : a deep chronic sense or state of insecurity and dissatisfaction arising from unresolved problems or unfulfilled needs

Fighting a fever since yesterday. Been shivering cold. even though I keep the house at 71. Went to bed at about 8 last night slept until my wifes alarm was going off.    Ashley I think you are correct. However, they won't be graced with my presence today.   Hugs,   Kymmie

That's horrible that they are blaming you for her presumption. I hate to say it but maybe they are looking for reasons.

I have no skin in the game here, apart from the signal that a re-elected Trump sends to likeminded politicians around the world, which would result in an indirect yet detrimental effect on many people here and elsewhere. So, hopefully what I write here can be used as a reference for how he, and American politics in general, is viewed from a country that is not directly involved.   It seems to me that politics is not taken seriously by enough people in America. Actually, specifically the USA (America can be anywhere from Prudhoe Bay to Panama to Patagonia). Electing a celebrity to high office just wouldn't happen here, let alone one who has overseen the bankruptcy of several of his business ventures and is embroiled in hush-money scandals. I remember during my teenage years when Reagen was elected; the main point of conjecture here was that he was just a B-grade actor. Equally laughable was Arnie as governor of California, although he turned out to be somewhat more socially progressive than most Republican politicians.    I simply cannot understand why the Dems cannot find a decent candidate. Biden has cognitive issues. Everyone expected Harris to step up by now, but no. Where's Jed Bartlet when you need him, lol! In my mind, if Martin Sheen threw his hat in the ring, he'd be elected in a heartbeat because many of you would actually believe that he was the real deal! Even though he's older than Biden!!!   Sorry if that sounds like I am trying to insult the intelligence of y'all. But y'all asked for it, by valuing celebrity over substance over the last five decades or so.    I have no doubt that Trump will win in November, even if he is in jail. His rusted-on supporters will just say, "Yep! That's our boy!!!"

Well said.    Although this so-called Project 2025 will not affect me directly in an immediate sense, it sends a signal to equivalent minded people and political parties around the world that it is okay to exclude minorities and indeed, to persecute them.   In my humble opinion, the far-right politicians know damn well that there is a very large cohort of less-than-intelligent people out there who are not capable of critical thinking and believe every skerrick of dog-whistling, fearmongering, "they're-out-there-to-get-you" rhetoric. Pander to their rural and village attitudes and you're on a winner!    Correcting them with logic and science won't work; they just double down and get louder with their petulance on full display.

Just waking up so I'm in my pajamas - blue/white madras shorts, a navy blue t-shirt and my sleep bra with sleep-rated breast forms.   Thank you @Susan R for telling us about your mastectomy bra and forms fitting experience before your BA surgery and how sleeping in the bra/forms helped with the dysphoria.    First, hearing about your courage to get fitted gave me the confidence and courage to go out in public.   And, second, finding sleep mastectomy bras and sleep-rated breast forms (I found a set on eBay for a good price) has been a tremendous boost to my feeling comfortable in my pajamas and nightgowns and tamping down my dysphoria and dysmorphia.

Germany has more castles than there are McDonald's in the United States. Yep, you heard that right. Germany is estimated to have 25,000 castles, and there are around 13,000 McDonald's locations in America.   In Washington state, there's a real-life law stating it's illegal to kill bigfoot and other sasquatch-like creatures.

DREAD f you’re anticipating something positive, you’re probably motivated to summon all your patience to wait for it—and sometimes for extended time periods. It may be counter-intuitive, yet in certain instances such waiting can itself be gratifying. Consider Carly Simon’s song “Anticipation,” the old Heinz ketchup ads, and—especially—recent research pointing in the opposite direction as regards awaiting something highly aversive. In this post I won’t be reviewing ketchup commercials, but I will be exploring some intriguing research on dread-infused anticipation.
