I'm new here; healthy, with a partner and luckily retired young in life (50's). I'm wondering if a partial transition actually works. Hormones yet no operations, my therapist seems to believe their are all different Grey areas to choose from. Even my partner is supportive but wishes I still appear male to the outside world and our child. I wonder if anybody has been through a similar journey?

I'd like to say that here we always talk about gender as male on one side and female on the other....with infinite other places on the sliding scale...we all need to stop wherever it is in our comfort zone...where ever it's good for you!

There is no positives.....everyone is different......no rules as to what you have to do or be in Transgenderism!

So, while we wait for the others to come by and say "HI!" ..you can just relax and enjoy....OK?

Hi, Avirone, and welcome to the Playground! That is a lovely and interesting name. Does it have

a special meaning?

I see you've gotten your snacks from my lovely friend Donna Jean. Good!

It's great that you have a supportive partner, as well as a good therapist. They are right, too,

that one does not need SRS in order to transition. Many here have transitioned fully and are lovely

men and women without undergoing surgery, or complete reassignment. For example, some have

orchiectomies done instead of full SRS.
