Ratty Hair

Ever since I let go of trying to be a guy I stopped getting a buzz. I actually like it kinda longer. But now it looks ratty in the back at my neck. If I can't figure out a way to make it look nicer my mom will probably cut it. Do you have any suggestions of what I could do or how to have it cut?

Same problem here, Dak...

(You wouldn't mind, if I'd call you 'Dak', right? ;) )

My idea, give it time... Once the hair becomes long enough, It'll sag under it's own weight. (Yééés, hair has weight, too... :P ) It's plenty annoying for me, too, to see all those hairs crisscrossed, and refusing to listen to my comb...

My mom had reasonably short hair, for a long time. But then she decided she wanted it long, again. She had the most horrific hair-do, for months. Now, it looks a lot better...

Something else - after you wash it, comb it out wet, using a rat tail comb then one with the big teeth. Don't use a hair dryer. When it dries -- spray some of the 'hair shine' product ONLY at the ends and base of the neck (not in the scalp). It's oily and makes it slick enough to detangle.

Look at girls hair. It takes a lot of care to grow it out, and often goes through a few weeks of looking bad. Girls also let their hair get oilier (shiny) than guys do.

So just be patient.

I hope this helps.
