girls jeans

Now that girl jeans are what I wear most of the time, I dread having to put my old guy jeans on. As far as sizes, it seams to vary based on the brand, in Wrangler and Cabela's I'm in a 16W but in J Jill a 14..wish it was all standard but it's not. But in the long run, the sizes are withing a size or two and I find ones that fit either way.

The extra shopping is always fun and worth it to have the softest, most comfortable jeans imaginable.

Next adventure is to start replacing the tshirts and socks...

I've got mostly girl's jeans myself, mostly size 6, that fit so much better then my boy jeans. Sadly I can't wear them every day to work, but when I do wear them nobody has even noticed and they fit so much better. I just wish could find some nice lady dress pants that would fit like my girl jeans and then could wear them to work on the days when I can't wear jeans.

JC Penny stores have a new Levi's section, not all jeans, maybe those are a better fit? I didn't look as the section was being stocked and had yellow construction tape around the new section like "do not enter"?

I'd love to wear girl's jeans, but not sure what size to get... if I have a 34" waist and 32" inseam does that mean I'm a size 12 or 14?

Girl jeans are all over the map. If has a lot to do with varing hip to waist ratios so they don't just have a one size fits all, sloppily like men size do.

I like to shop at thrift stores and use the fitting room. If I make a mistake, I am not out much money and most have good return policies. After you have a few pair, it is easy to recognize you size and cut. It then get's easier. Having a bunch of girl friends to swap clothes with is very cool too. In short time you can shop til you drop with few mistakes. Hug. JodyAnn

PS--- almost forgot, if you are not out in public and using mail order, check several sizing charts from many online vendors, measure yourself and compare. Mail order is always a crap shoot, but good venders have no hassle returns and exchanges. Hope this helps. JA

Must say. Too many variables with Girls jeans.

The only way to know for sure is to try them on.

You'll eventually know which will fit you the best.

I'll second JodyAnn's suggestion to go to the thrift stores.
