Tonight's the night!

I'm going out as Kylie for the very first time...shopping and dinner with two of my fashionista cousins :D I have some clothes that can pass as androgynous, and my new glasses came in (so I'll have glasses, hair, and breast forms as the "I'm a girl!" flags!). Time to have some fun!

I hope you have a wonderful time, Kylie. With support along for the ride, it will make it much less stressful, and if you get ma'am'd, you'll have someone to share the experience with. I wish you luck!

That first time will be a lasting memory! It should be fun!

Let us know how it went?

Love, Megan

Ps you got me to reminisce, all the nerves, the laughs, and that big takeaway, "How soon can I do it again?"

Kylie,

My very best to you on your special evening! As others have said,

tonight will be something for the scrapbook! Take a few pictures if

only for yourself!

A more serious question, Kylie. When this evening was arranged was

there any discussion or agreement as to how they would handle any

unexpected "interference" by anyone? I truly don't believe that will

happen, but perhaps out of my own insecurity I ask .... "Okay, I've

been insulted or outed .... how will my companioons react to keep me

safe?"

Somehow I know you won't have a problem but my questions reveal

my own insecurities.

Jan!

Kylie, Enjoy and i'm sure you will. Great to have support. Remember in the ladies room its best not to talk to your friends unless your voice is perfect. Women can't see you and they can hear that male voice with no visual clues to convince them.

Enjoy and let us know how it went..

Hugs, Charlie

Ok, just got back from Kohl's and Ruby Tuesday's...bought about $1000 worth of clothes for $350! I didn't have any issues walking around the store or in the dressing rooms, and the cashier was a bit shocked when she saw the name on my Kohl's card! I got miss'ed/You Ladies at Ruby Tuesday's (apparently my voice is decent enough to order food!), so all in all, tonight was wicked awesome!

I agree that we may well not be much better off here in the US.  There is definitely a backlash and in some areas or with certain demographics our safety doesn't exist.  Fortunately there are also many who are much more accepting than ever.  I have to look at that bright side. A bit of a Pollyanna ?   Hugs,   Charlize

Sad to say, this is running about the same as it is here in the U.S. and may not be as bad in a couple of places, but still it is pretty bad overall.  Great Britain has about the same stats on H8ers, minus the KKK of course, but the Fundamentalist and Roman Catholic influences are used as the same excuses to just plain hate from what I have heard.

https://inews.co.uk/news/uk/third-transgender-people-victim-hate-crime/   This is very troubling, but given the very negative press and public opinions, hardly surprising.  The question is, what, if anything, will be done about it?   Carolyn Marie

Seat belts are not required but highly advised.  Actually i took me time to feel much and even then changes were slow and subtle.  Enjoy your journey!   Hugs,   Charlize

Congratulations, get ready for the ride and hold on. I started HRT about 14 months ago at 41. I have loved every minute of my journey thus far. I won't lie, it's a roller coaster. Good luck on your journey and do keep us posted.    Hugs    Shawnna
