I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and as this is a Christian forum rejoice as we celebrate another year since the birth of our Lord into this world. find the true meaning in this, and don't be caught up in all of the commercialism to the point that you forget what this day is really about.

I am not very religious in the classic sense but appreciate the meaning and do spend time thinking and subconsciously praying

The meaning to me is to think of people - not the gifts!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and all

The Christ Mass said by liturgical Christian churches on December 25th celebrates a God who glorified creation by taking on the form of His Creation and sanctifying it wholly. It is to remind us that like Jesus all of us are alike in heart and spirit if we open ourselves up to it. God is very much here now in each of us who accept our own birth, both in life and the liturgy of baptism as an indwelling of God's real presence. The Presence will be in us, waiting to be our servant and care giver when we take time to remember it is there. Kneel by the Creche and focus yourself in on the infant and become that child in your mind's eye and remember the core of your life finds a glory of True Self that God has sanctified as one of us.

A Blessed and Peace Filled Christmas to all.

The Peace of the Lord be always with you.

Once I thought finding my new self would take me away from my faith. Now I realize that those who espouse their faith but are up accepting of those who make them uncomfortable have missed the point of "God so loved the world"!

My Christmas will always be merry now!

Lelia, I came out to my wife in the fall of 09. By the spring of 10, I stopped attending the church we'd gone to for many, many years. They do not know, but I felt I was putting my wife in a difficult situation and did not want to bring any discord to a group I cared about nor did I want them to have to confront such an issue on my accord. So I stepped away.

But, my faith remains with me always.

Peace to all.
