Willow, I used an aftermarket harness. but I still kept getting vocals out of the sub. So I threw in a crossover I had. If I wanted to put a full sound system in it, I could. Have amps, speakers, subs, Etc.  When you compete in car audio you acquire some stuff.   But the explorer is my offroader, so just the basic. Even though it is a loaded Limited.power leather seats, moon roof ect.

Now our 2000 Crown Vic is getting the sounds. DVD the works.

Kymmie, I bought a 2005 Eddie Bauer for the sole purpose of towing my boat.  It had 160,000 miles v6 2wd.  Then we sold that boat and replaced it with one that never goes on a trailer, 8000lbs, 32 ft long and 10.5 feet wide.  Not exactly trailerable. Oh yeah then there is the clearance requirement,  43 feet above the waterline and another 6 below.  Oh well.  lol

Good Morning.  Glad to be back at work.  So much less drama.  My life has seemingly turned into a sit com/soap opera. Sigh.

Tough day yesterday lets just say.

Its a new day and although the weather is crappy here I am in much better sprites.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility.  It's hard being visible while in isolation, but we see each other here.  In whatever way you make your presence known, be yourself!

Hello All.

Another day being the best true self I can be and loving every second.  For now.  LOL

I actually am starting to think I may be manic/depressant as I am riding so high on my new life and then a few minutes later I am crying wondering why it is so hard to just be me.

So yea.  Therapy topic for Friday.  LOL

Until then I am keeping safe and sanitized and still playing the essential role.  I'm not sure if this is better then isolation or not (as I am a gamer) but I am it at my hospitals doing what I do so it is what it is.

Be safe everyone and have a wonderful day!

Hey Shawna, the ups and downs are normal, especially when first starting HRT. I know what you are going through but after time it will smooth out.

Good luck at therapy.

Greetings all.  Its nice to read your comments.

That was nice @KymmieL.  Drive home safely.

@ShawnaLeigh yeah this can be a rather wild ride even in the best of times.  Have faith that you're doing what you can by going to work and trying to be the best you can.

Its good to see you back to posting @BrandiBri again.  Thanks.

I just had some good news from the U.K. Gender Recognition Panel.  My application goes before them on April 22nd.  I should hear the results by May 1st.

So, before too long (I know the wheels of British bureaucracy turn slowly!), I should have a birth certificate that says that a baby girl named Kathleen Lauren ______ was born 65 years ago.  ?

Congratulations Kathleen.  Hope it goes well for you.  I will need Srs to get my  birth certificate  changed in Michigan.  But first things first. Name right now  after the world gets back some sense of order.

Hi everyone one.

our Governor has not told everyone to stay at home, YET!  But last weekend the weather was nice and people ignored the distance orders on the beach an on the water. So now the beaches are closed to everyone, all boat ramps are closed, all short-term rentals are banned!  For a place that lives on tourists it’s pretty tough on the businesses.

So, this morning I was looking in the mirror and I saw my wife looking at me.  I asked her “What?”  She replied nothing but I knew there was something.  I asked her again later.  She fessed up, I was looking more feminine.  She thinks my breasts are changing although I don’t see it.  But I have to admit I could see my general shape is changing. Narrower waist softer features less or lighter body hair.

guess my HRT is working.  That makes it a good day.

Congratulations Willow!

I could do with a narrower waist, I'm built like a barrel! Someday things will get back to normal and I can commence HRT. Soon, please, soon!?!

The name "Mississippi" comes from the Anishinabe tribe of Native Americans; the word means "Father of Waters."

That's horrible that they are blaming you for her presumption. I hate to say it but maybe they are looking for reasons.

I have no skin in the game here, apart from the signal that a re-elected Trump sends to likeminded politicians around the world, which would result in an indirect yet detrimental effect on many people here and elsewhere. So, hopefully what I write here can be used as a reference for how he, and American politics in general, is viewed from a country that is not directly involved.   It seems to me that politics is not taken seriously by enough people in America. Actually, specifically the USA (America can be anywhere from Prudhoe Bay to Panama to Patagonia). Electing a celebrity to high office just wouldn't happen here, let alone one who has overseen the bankruptcy of several of his business ventures and is embroiled in hush-money scandals. I remember during my teenage years when Reagen was elected; the main point of conjecture here was that he was just a B-grade actor. Equally laughable was Arnie as governor of California, although he turned out to be somewhat more socially progressive than most Republican politicians.    I simply cannot understand why the Dems cannot find a decent candidate. Biden has cognitive issues. Everyone expected Harris to step up by now, but no. Where's Jed Bartlet when you need him, lol! In my mind, if Martin Sheen threw his hat in the ring, he'd be elected in a heartbeat because many of you would actually believe that he was the real deal! Even though he's older than Biden!!!   Sorry if that sounds like I am trying to insult the intelligence of y'all. But y'all asked for it, by valuing celebrity over substance over the last five decades or so.    I have no doubt that Trump will win in November, even if he is in jail. His rusted-on supporters will just say, "Yep! That's our boy!!!"

Well said.    Although this so-called Project 2025 will not affect me directly in an immediate sense, it sends a signal to equivalent minded people and political parties around the world that it is okay to exclude minorities and indeed, to persecute them.   In my humble opinion, the far-right politicians know damn well that there is a very large cohort of less-than-intelligent people out there who are not capable of critical thinking and believe every skerrick of dog-whistling, fearmongering, "they're-out-there-to-get-you" rhetoric. Pander to their rural and village attitudes and you're on a winner!    Correcting them with logic and science won't work; they just double down and get louder with their petulance on full display.

Just waking up so I'm in my pajamas - blue/white madras shorts, a navy blue t-shirt and my sleep bra with sleep-rated breast forms.   Thank you @Susan R for telling us about your mastectomy bra and forms fitting experience before your BA surgery and how sleeping in the bra/forms helped with the dysphoria.    First, hearing about your courage to get fitted gave me the confidence and courage to go out in public.   And, second, finding sleep mastectomy bras and sleep-rated breast forms (I found a set on eBay for a good price) has been a tremendous boost to my feeling comfortable in my pajamas and nightgowns and tamping down my dysphoria and dysmorphia.
