Good morning all,

A tiring week at work and the holiday craziness is over. Today, I rest.

Trip to sister's went very well over all. Although my sister's husband refuses to call me Carla, and I was accidently misnamed by others a few times, it was pretty nice. Even Ed seemed pleasant. Sometimes when you expect the worst, anything else makes it better.

Now it's time for a nap!?

Lots of love and a good morning hug,

Timber Wolf?

We got a pathetic dusting of snow this morning but the temps are climbing so rain it is for the rest of the day.

Happy Friday!

Wx here outside of DC is overcast with light rain, mid 40s going to mid 50s.  It's dreary, but a good day to be inside writing code and crunching numbers.  Numbers.  Yum!  Crunchy!  Oh, and coffee, too.  Gotta have the coffee.  (I'm in it for the caffeine.)

Happy Friday!

Yes, coffee is one of my favorite things. I prefer it dark and chocolatey. (Is that even a word?) I used to drink it like it was water but I’ve cut down to two cups. I like drinking it with fennel and cayenne in it and then I stir in some licorice to give it a little kick. Delightful flavor. My favorite breakfast is some eggs and vegetables like green peppers and onions and maybe some mushrooms. But lately I’ve been so busy I settle for Greek yogurt with fruit or a healthy shake. I’m trying to lose some of the fat I have where it’s not flattering and it’s working so far. Almost back down to a girlish figure. My curves are sneaking back in little by little. I’m looking forward to the day my tummy is flat again but that won’t be long. Light exercises targeting specific muscle groups are working well. Once I’m back on estrogen I’ll be ready for the fat deposits to go where they belong.

I’m relaxed this morning and watching my ghost shows. I don’t necessarily take it seriously but it’s fun to watch.

I’m going to try and visit the GLO Center today. I’m a bit nervous about it but I really need to.

Its a warm and sunny day here, high 40's.  I washed my dining room windows, in and out, as should have done it sooner but was lazy.  But now the sun shines through brightly!

We're going to see an off Broadway version of Hedwig and the Angry Inch tonight.  I'm psyched!  I love the music from this show.  I've seen the movie and hope the stage production is as good or better.

Had a bit of a lie in with Milo this morning before getting up to work from home at my desk. Always a calming way to start the day!

That reminds me I forgot coffee today because I’ve been so busy trying to get work lined up, but happy rainy and cold New Years Eve! Yay! Made it to another one. Hoping this next year is full of many good things and plenty of new girly clothes, shoes, makeup, hair and new friends too. (Of course)

Got into the office on the early side today so I can get everything done then go hang out with my friends after work...  I made my 1st cup of coffee as soon as I rolled in the door, right past the reception desk and straight to the warehouse for the coffee maker is, God bless Single cup coffee maker’s! I was invited to a small gathering for New Year’s so I’m really excited, we made up a new version of the card game war and we call it “War of Aces” and it’s really quite fun, we plan on playing until midnight !

Hedwig was wonderful the other night.  We had a great time.  We're going to a midnight production of Rocky Horror Picture Show later.  We'll need a quick nap to make it through the night!

Made it home. Went from 38 degrees to 3 degrees in the process. Left about 4:30. Roads were mostly clear ran into some blowing snow about 50 miles into Co. Then about 40 miles from home.

Weird weather here too. It started out cold and wet with a forecast for drizzle all day and then cleared up and got warm? Spooky strange.

We had some usually cold weather today that wasn't forecasted.  It's been in the mid 40's every morning all this week and I go out for my morning walk and it looked like a 1/2" of snow fell but in reality it was 28°F ❄️and frosty as anything.  I was an ice cube after my exersize.

I got in sooooo late last night, quite out of the norm for me, I think I breezed in here about 4 AM and the temperature was a brisk 28° which is super cold for this area of northern California. I was kind of annoyed because all of the 24 hour fast food restaurants that I usually rely on for some caffeine on the way home were closed, I was so bummed, but I made it home just fine. I got up this morning at 9 AM and went downstairs to my friends house, made myself 2 cups of coffee while I took care of his dogs while he and his wife are away at a wedding, I started a fire in their wood-burning stove so the dogs would not freeze to death and sat there with my coffee warming myself as well.

This new place up in the mountains is interesting, I’ve gotten used to the long dirt road that gets me here and surprisingly my minivan doesn’t mind the Rough terrain, I thought I was going to have to get a four-wheel-drive something or another, maybe a Subaru, but it really quite appears that my little ancient Ford minivan is up to the task of ferrying big boxes of Keurig K cups to and from the coffee maker in my Mountain hideaway ... ?

Just be cautious Jae bear, rocks can do damage that can’t be seen right away. That’s how I lost my minivan. But I’m glad you are enjoying the place in the mountains. It’s nice to get away and enjoy nature.

Your retreat sounds really nice.  I love the mountains.  I trust you finally got everything working, water, water heater etc.  We looked at some mountain homes once, but at the time we had Toyota MR2 and we had enough issues with the Jeep Liberty getting in just to look at it.  I knew it would just tear up the MR2.

Happy New year, glad you got home safe even it it was 4AM.

Hey Willow,

Believe it or not I get in here with my 1987 Fiero GT all the time, you just have to do it carefully and not too slow but not too fast! Once a year one of the other rural residents  offers to grade the road nicely for about $1000 and we all typically chip in so I’ll have to be chipping in something this year.  And just for the record Josie, my old minivan cost me a whopping $300?, and I do my best to keep it in good reliable safe condition, so if I tear it to pieces I suppose I’ll have to start driving the Fiero back in here!?

I just started up the wood burning stove in my loft so it’s not so super freezing cold like it was last night when I got in and it was 29° outside, I finally have a working bathroom as well, hot water is awesome! I love taking a shower with instant hot water, although I am mindful not to use too many gallons since we are on a well, however I’ve been told the well never runs dry, just the same I’m rather judicious with my Water usage. I got up this morning and made myself a cup of Kirkland brand best Pacific bold coffee in my keurig, I haven’t gotten the refrigerator up here yet so it’s either the dry coffee mate creamer or the little plastic cups of individual creamer that don’t need refrigeration like they have at pancake restaurants everywhere.

Good day all!

This  all reminds me of my home up north in the Manistee National Forest. I lived on an unmaintained dirt road. There were huge pot holes, they seemed more like valleys and canyons. In the winter I had to shovel my street to the next neighbor's drive.

In  the winter at night I would let the fire in the stove go out and it would get cold in the house. It wouldn't take long for my cat Gizmo to crawl under the covers with me. I'd get up in the morning and clean the  stove out and get a fire  going first thing. The nights that got bellow 0 I'd set my alarm for every 2.5 hours to get up and run the water so the pipes wouldn't freeze. When it got down to -15 to -20, sometimes I barely made it on time. The super cooled water started freezing as  it came out the faucets. Gosh I miss it.? I'm  a woodsgal, not a city dweller.

Lots  of love,

Timber Wolf?

While I grew up in northern Ohio, and love the year I spent in Colorado, I am looking for to going home tomorrow.  It’s about 30 degrees warmer there. Winter wilderness camping never bothered me nor did staying in a cabin with a fireplace or wood stove for heat.  But I’m older now and no longer appreciate the cold.

That does get you the 'starting point' for cup size, but manufacturers, style, breast shape, etc... will effect the results.    Step one is of course finding the proper band fit, then figuring out the approximate cup size with the calculations. Of course you need to try on a few styles after that in different cup sizes close to your measured result until you get the perfect fit.    I have bras in a DD that fit just like my bras in DDD both from Torrid but different styles.    I have some DDD's that fit awesome and some that are a bit loose, but I measure a 46G. It's not wonder that 80% of women are wearing them wrong bra.

I firmly believe I drank entirely to much for about 25 years. Got drunk every day. This was my coping mechanism to keep hiding deep inside that I was a woman. I miss a lot of signs over the years. Now I drink mabye 1 or 2 beers a day don't even get a buzz anymore. totally accept myself and on regret is that I hide that part of my self which  truly makes me happy being violet 💜. I wasted a lot of time before  being self destructive and had no clue I was just hiding th real me

Well it not morning and I haven’t been on her for a while but it’s nice to be back.  Did some catching up on everyone.  I do have a question, how is Toronto Canada for a get away? Is it a safe and friendly area for us to go.  The wife and I are looking for some where to go to allow me to be my true self.     thanks in advance

Hey, everyone. my life is going down the tubes. at least I think. So, today. A customer called about his car, I told him that the oil change was done. The parts to fix the check engine light are ordered. He can come and get it. For the weekend if he wants. Customer says I didn't want an oil change. it was check the engine light and check for an oil leak. Checking the work order says oil change. The boss wrote the vehicle up. checking with the customer on services wanted.   Being that I wrote down the appointment in the book. and clearly states oil leak. She is complaining because she can't read my small ish writing. It seems she read oil and assumed it as an oil change. It seems like she is blaming me.  She wound up going home because she was too upset. She is stressing about an eye problem she has, she has to get eye surgery it seems she has a tear in her eye.    I feel that I am short for this job. because of the BS they are blaming me on. Plus I am still upset about the trust issue. If either one of the bosses start their Shite tomorrow. I am walking out.

"I love you so much,"  Lois said.  They met in the driveway. "I could not live without you." "Neither could I." "What are we going to do?" "Find another counselor?" "No. I think we need to solve this ourselves." "Do you think we can?" "I don't know.  But what I know is that I don't want to go through that again.  I think we have to hope we can find a solution." "Otherwise, despair." "Yeah.   Truce?" "Okay,  truce." And they hugged.   "When we know what we want we can figure out how to get there."   That began six years of angry battles, with Odie insisted he could dress as he pleased and Lois insisting it did not please her at all.  He told her she was not going to control him and she replied that she still had rights as a wife to a husband. Neither was willing to give in, neither was willing to quit, and their heated arguments ended in hugs and more.   They went to a Crossdressers' Club, where they hoped to meet other couples with the same problems, the same conflicts, and the same answers, if anyone had any.  It took them four tries before they settled on a group that they were both willing to participate in.  This was four couples their own age, each with a cross dressing husband and a wife who was dealing with it.  They met monthly.  It was led by a 'mediator' who wanted people to express how they felt about the situation.  Odie and Lois, as newcomers, got the floor, and the meeting was finally dismissed at 1:30 in the morning - it was supposed to be over at 10 - and everyone knew how they felt about the situation.   There was silence in the car on the way home.   "We aren't the only ones dealing with this." Odie finally said.   "Who would have thought that?  You are right."   "Somebody out there has a solution." "I hope you are right."   "I hope in hope, not in despair."   "That's my Odie."
    • Abigail Genevieve
The counseling session was heated, if you could call it a counseling session.  Sometimes Lois felt he was on Odie's side, and sometimes on hers.  When he was on her side, Odie got defensive. She found herself being defensive when it seemed they were ganging up on each other.   "This is not working," Lois said angrily, and walked out.  "Never again. I want my husband back. Dr. Smith you are complicit in this."   "What?" said Odie.   The counselor looked at him.  "You will have to learn some listening skills."   "That is it? Listening skills?  You just destroyed my marriage, and you told me I need to learn listening skills?"   Dr. Smith said calmly,"I think you both need to cool off."   Odie looked at him and walked out, saying "And you call yourself a counselor."   "Wait a minute."   "No."
