hello everyone my name is craven I am a ftm. I am extremely shy and takes a while to actually talk or even open up. The only ones who really support me is my husband, his sister and his brother in law. Which makes my depression even higher. I am an gamer, cosplayer and what not. There is more but I don’t want to ramble on.

Hi Craven, You're not rambling!  Stream of conscious writing is common here so have at it.  No one here is judgmental.   I'm not into gaming and cosplay but we have a number of members that are so you're in good company.

Having the support of your spouse and in-laws is cool.  You can branch out when the time is right.

Please join in the conversation and ask any questions you may have.

Cheers, Jani

Hello Craven. Welcome.  We enjoy reading about the lives of others like us so never feel like your bothering us by sharing yourself.  We are all here for the same reasons...and three of the major ones are support, friendship and information.  It's good to know a little about you so we can give you support that best fits your situation. Please feel free to share as much as you feel comfortable sharing.

Welcome to Trans Pulse, Craven.  No pressure to talk about yourself any more than you are comfortable with.  You can participate in the forums as much or as little as you like, but as I always tell folks, the more you participate, the more you will learn.  Glad to have you here with us.

HUGS

Hi...I'm new myself, and seem to have my own set of problems, and family suggesting what to do.  I've been told by friends to just be myself, accept myself, and recognize the laughter and joy I often bring to others.  I offer lots of advice, but never act on it myself.  I'm shy and self-critical, so I need to find confidence...we would all do better with that, and I've found that returning to who I know I am (I took ten years off transitioning...didn't make any difference except spoiling my life...I was caretaker to my mom, and dealt with family a lot, but I should never have given up being who I am).

Take strength in knowing you're doing this for yourself, and things will eventually work...be yourself.

I am what I am...many have said that, other than Popeye...lol.

Welcome Craven. I too enjoy gaming, but it seems like a hardly ever get the chance lately. Cosplay has always fascinated me and I have thought of trying it at a local con, but I never find the time to get started.

You have ave come to a great place for support and sharing at your pace as lots of others have already mentioned.

*hugs*

Welcome Craven! I am not into cosplay but I did find a cosplay pattern (Manikin) while looking at McCall's patterns online. I just may make it because it's so cute! Lot's of work though. I would wear it for Halloween.

Finally I  am back online   I had to use the help of the contact form (not proud  of that, I always feel embarrassed and shy about contacting people), but here I am   missed all of you

I'm not happy to admit this, but I usually scream or break things.   Breaking things became a bit of a no no, because It was always a cd or something I liked and it got very expensive to replace stuff

Probably amusement parks. I've never been to one sadly, but I think I could talk for an hour about them without any problem

The name "Mississippi" comes from the Anishinabe tribe of Native Americans; the word means "Father of Waters."

frustration:  the frustration of creative instinct is a notorious evil of the machine age : the state or an instance of being frustrated. : a deep chronic sense or state of insecurity and dissatisfaction arising from unresolved problems or unfulfilled needs

Fighting a fever since yesterday. Been shivering cold. even though I keep the house at 71. Went to bed at about 8 last night slept until my wifes alarm was going off.    Ashley I think you are correct. However, they won't be graced with my presence today.   Hugs,   Kymmie

That's horrible that they are blaming you for her presumption. I hate to say it but maybe they are looking for reasons.

I have no skin in the game here, apart from the signal that a re-elected Trump sends to likeminded politicians around the world, which would result in an indirect yet detrimental effect on many people here and elsewhere. So, hopefully what I write here can be used as a reference for how he, and American politics in general, is viewed from a country that is not directly involved.   It seems to me that politics is not taken seriously by enough people in America. Actually, specifically the USA (America can be anywhere from Prudhoe Bay to Panama to Patagonia). Electing a celebrity to high office just wouldn't happen here, let alone one who has overseen the bankruptcy of several of his business ventures and is embroiled in hush-money scandals. I remember during my teenage years when Reagen was elected; the main point of conjecture here was that he was just a B-grade actor. Equally laughable was Arnie as governor of California, although he turned out to be somewhat more socially progressive than most Republican politicians.    I simply cannot understand why the Dems cannot find a decent candidate. Biden has cognitive issues. Everyone expected Harris to step up by now, but no. Where's Jed Bartlet when you need him, lol! In my mind, if Martin Sheen threw his hat in the ring, he'd be elected in a heartbeat because many of you would actually believe that he was the real deal! Even though he's older than Biden!!!   Sorry if that sounds like I am trying to insult the intelligence of y'all. But y'all asked for it, by valuing celebrity over substance over the last five decades or so.    I have no doubt that Trump will win in November, even if he is in jail. His rusted-on supporters will just say, "Yep! That's our boy!!!"
