Hi 

I joined this group yesterday on FaceBook.  I thought it might be a way to meet others like me in Sydney. ?

I guess this covid 19 has given me a lot of time to look around and explore a lot more.  When I was working I never seemed to make the time. Though I intend to find a new job very soon.   I have been sitting back a bit and not really looking too hard. LOL not it is time to get back in the work force.

Thanks for this post, Carrie.  So what is the purpose of the FB Group; just socializing, or support, info sharing, etc?  A little more info would be useful.  However, please don't post a link to the group; that's not allowed here.

It is much like it is here.  To support those who are trans or families and sometimes those in the same areas meet up socially to get to know and support one another.  Some times face to face time with people who share the same problems and thoughts. 

It is mostly for those of us in Australia because in part it connects us. I guess people in your own country often understand the problems that you face from day to day better than those from another country.  Each country seems to have its own problems unique for that country. 

I can not see why there would be a problem for any one who was like minded to be part of it. 

Though I think mainly it is aimed at Australians. 

I some times struggle to get an idea written down and am sometimes clumsy.
