Asking For My Letter

I have reached the point in therapy where I only see her once

every six months.My therapist had sent me a letter thanking me

for refering one of you to her,asking me to give her a call about

my lawyers name for marker and name change.Apparently,she

had no idea it has been six months since our last visit.I told her

about the very real changes I have made to my appearance,then

saying that I would really like my letter of referal of surgical readiness.

Her reply took me back a bit."You don't have the money yet,why do

you want it so soon?" I told her it is for the peace of mind it will give me.

For when my time does come,that will be one less thing to worry about.

And after two years of real life experience,I am ready.I will be her first

appointment of the day.Plan on going very femme,let her see I truly am

ready for life and for that final step in my journey.The cherry on my cake.

After 2 years I'd definately think you're ready. My therapist kinda implied something similar with regard to my top surgery; as if until I could tell him I could afford it and the means he couldn't (the truth on that is just "wouldn't) give it My stance is, their business is whats in your head not whats in your pockets. Good luck to you, you did right, when you want something tell the person .
