for those who know me here, i had been working on coming out to my parents. on monday i told my mom

i feel not as happy as i expected, and i still have to tell my dad tomorrow, sorry for not posting very much!! my ipod is broken and i have been working every day, i feel trapped more than ever before. not very happy

iPod broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not good. Use your iTunes until you can get a new one or get that one fixed. I know without my music I would die very quickly. And by die I mean die (death) a fish without water. I live by the beat of my music, not good to go without it. Luckily my mom is bringing it soon.

BTW: how did your mom react?

Well, for when you get it back, relax and think positive thoughts when you come out to your father.

You can't control what anyone else thinks but you do have contrl over your own thoughts (to a degree).

Char, just try to relax, be yourself, be honest, and be prepared for whatever reaction

you get. I know you've heard it all before, and now you've been through it with

your mom.

Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst.

Most of all, remember you are who who are. Be proud of that. Hold your head up high.

If your dad see's that you are confident in who you say you are, he should be too.

Coming out can be very stressful. Makes sense (Ipod aside) that you haven't exactly felt "talkative". Do what Carolyn said though, it was good advice
