I felt like writing today and yet try as I might I could not get past this verse ^^ It seemed to say everything that I wanted to say, short though it is. I repeatedly tried to expand on it but no luck so here we have it:

River

Leaves drift upon the rivers calm flow,

Not bidden by season yet fallen like snow,

Each tarnished, broken and unique,

Nothing but the end to seek.

Its a Haiku I swear! *counts syllables and feels guilty*

some time we sink another we float,,

why not tight our boats by love in thought

when one going sink another can give a shout,,

all hands, coming to bring one life from fade,,

to save us from ruin ,we must give best of aide,,

I never judge a poem by its length.

What was it?

that caused us that pain

that caused the disconnect

that caused all the problems

What was it?

that tortured us

that tormented us

that made us feel useless

What was it?

that confused our lives

that mess up relationships

that broke our friendships

What was it?

the cause is unknown

a cure there is none

inside and outside must match

then you are one

the trail it is long

not minutes

not months

it is years that we take

to correct this problem

Oh my sisters

Oh my brothers

a trail we must walk

thats rougher than others

to leave behind

the pain

the hurt

to leave behind

the failures

the rest

forward to life

new and abundant

for finally you are

what you should have been born
