1.Getting kicked out of shop class for using a micrometer as a C-clamp 2.The girls in home-ec agree to let me wear their clothes if I finish their sewing projects 3.I had more girlfriends than any guy I knew, yet if I tried to ask one out they would look at me like I was nuts. 4.If I was alone in a mens room washing my hands, any guy that came in would go back & double check the sign. 5. If I used the ladies room I got totally ignored unless someone needed a tampon.

OMG!!! I thought I was the only one who had that happen to them in home ec! Not to mention I was the only guy in there... took that instead of shop one year... even got "student of the year" in it. Secretly happy, outwardly acted embarrassed. Sewing seems like such a lost art now-a-days, glad there are more seamstresses out there. *high five*

Oh, and it seems par for the course that all us MtF's have a bazillion girl friends, yet we never "dated" any of them. Started calling them "gal pals" just so I wouldn't have to explain it anymore. Feel free to steal that! ;)

(Thanks for helping me with a bit of self realization to. Never thought back to that home ec stuff until now, but that is definitely one of my earliest memories of being "different" from the other guys)

Isabella, this is like you read my diary. Except I knew how to use a micrometer, and was never in shop class. The other girls in home economics asked me for finishing tips on their clothes because mine came out better. I even finished theirs in exchange for other similar services. My problem in home ec was that I had to have a girlfriend keep my clothes I made for me because I couldn't wear them in, leaving, or entering my house. I had to change before I actually got to school. I definitely had more girlfriends, but we talked way more about guys then the guys I knew talked about girls, at least when I was around the guys I knew. I was never in the men's room without my gay friend as an escort. Never, ever, ever alone. And last, if I was in the girls room and someone asked me for a tampon, I gave her one. I cannot count how many times I have been asked for, and been able to hand over, a tampon.

Hahha :) thank-you! This was very funny to read. I like the double-checking the sign part hahaa ^.^ I've had that happen in the girls room before :D
