blagh, i fell asleep at nine, woke up about an hour ago, i dunno why i couldn't sleep, my heart was racing, nto a dream, but whatever, i'm like wide awake now...

so i ws wondering, as a man while i've slimmed everwhere i still have what is most infamously known as moobs, as far as i've seen on a guy thse dissapere with the rest of the fat, dunno why mine stuck around. I was wondering if thsee would affect my breast size, im not so efficien on cup size but, and i saw this on a commercial not too long ago that made me laugh, one gf i had told me to compare it to a fruit and girsl could guess cup sizes, or at least she could. My breasts, are pear sized when my arms are down at my side, a bit smaller mabey.

Hey Jess,

You have what is called gynoclomastia.(you lucky girl)

Any who are born with this condition, though terribly embarrassing to a normally gendered male,

are a bon for a transgendered female like you. That means you have a head start. What it means

in terms of your upcoming breast size on HRT,is a good question. And one that only time and the

magic of transition will be able to tell what your gift will bring you. I like that you aren't afraid to

ask questions. That is how you will assure yourself, and get the education a woman should have

before she starts the hormone therapy to take you where you know you must be.Good Girl

Hugs,

Angie

I found that you can pretty well predict the size you'll have, should be similar to mother or like dad's mother as she had at youth, relative to the underband.

The problem is, people usually do get the size of their parents, nowdays even bigger, but for people under hrt, many times the rib cage might be bigger than the mother or sisters, so even if the breasts weight the same, it is a smaller cup.

32A isn't like 34A, 34A is like 32B in size, but the 32B looks bigger.

Well,

An B cup breast is bigger than an A cup no matter what the band size.

A B cup is fuller more prominant than an A cup.I was an 34A cup for some

time, now a full 34B cup and rounding out still. There is one heck of a difference.

Both my sisters and my mother are/were A cups so I can really see the difference.

Jess Hun, sounds like you do have gynecomastia as I do. Simply gyno involves the development of our mammary glands as they would be in a woman. This is why when we lose body fat our breasts remain, as this is not fat tissue as it is in false gyno or "moobs." As far as I know with true gyno our breasts are a lot more sensitive and erogenous than if it were false gyno and they are shaped entirely different. Also it is not at all unusual for our breasts to continue to grow as we age even without HRT. Mammary glands also produce estrogen naturally so it's like the bigger they grow the bigger they grow! When I first began wearing a bra it was a bit of a stretch to have a c-cup fit but now I find I completely fill one up. My breasts are naturally larger than either one of my sisters or mother BTW.

That was a great explaination of gynoclomastia Ricka.

Far more knowlege than I have on the subject by a loooong shot.

I know about it because my exes boy friend has it and is embarrassed about it.

Always has been,so much so,he will not go without a shirt ever.

He could always get breast reduction surgery if it bothers him that much.

I've personally got the same thing. I have a size A and the nipple is at the stage where the entire areola form separate small mound and kind of looks pouffy. It's been like that for me since middle school and I caught hell for it in gym before I earned to wear undershirts to avoid going shirtless in the locker room.

My question is what does this mean for when we get on hrt? Does it mean we will develop more or it isn't a factor?

Hi Jess,

only finding your post now, sorry hun. Moobs or man boobs I would guess run in the family , my father had em and so do I.

At present I am loosing wieght and jogging like crazy to loose more as when I start eostrogen I am hoping I put on weight in more

"appropriate" places , boobs, hips , rear, etc. So for now mr. moobs and a padded bra do wonders for me. PS, theres irony in there,

huh ????? :D , Luv, Viv.

Be Aware Viv,

This is a l-o-n-g road.Changes happen slowly but steadily as you slooowly morph into your

real self.HRT is magic, and preforms wonderous things to us,but it takes Time and Patience.

It is not an instantaneous thing at all. I am not saying you think this way,it is just that some

girls do.

Hugs,

Angie

I do spoken word acting, and give Trans 101 talks and other public speaking.  I wear make-up for those occasions.  Sephora is easy for me to get to, and has a foundation that does a good job for me and the sales folks there are Trans Friendly.  Their eye shadow pallets are also fun to use. Another source of my foundation is Ulta which carries Dermablend that does a consistent job of my lower face and chin.   I just use good old Revlon lipsticks because I ruin them by leaving my purse in the hot car too often.

I'm not interested in makeup, jewelry or nice clothes or girly stuff.  It's made me wonder at times.   It saves some money.  If I wore a skirt it would likely  be denim.  I thought about a woman's skirt suit but nah.   Neither of my sisters are into that stuff either.  One likes peasant chic (still a 60s flower girl)  and the other - the only time she has ever worn a dress was at her wedding.  Jeans at all other times.   Jeans and t shirt here.  Content being a girl.  Weirdo. Weirda? Never mind.

@Ladypcnj Before posting links to other group's websites, PM one of the Staff (preferably an Admin) and have them check that site out.   We have specific rules here regarding age appropriateness and would need to know that the other site is in line with those rules.  We do have members here between 13 and 18 and other sites need to be safe for that age range, legally and otherwise.  Also, we are not a dating or pick-up site, not do we allow people selling things to advertise here.  As I said clear the link with a moderator or admin before posting it.  Mod's and admins do check out posts and if we find problem links we will remove them and notify the OP of a rules violation.  Go to https://www.transgenderpulse.com/community-rules to understand where we are.

I raise my hand in the group, I have a question and a suggestion... is it allowed to share other new lgbtq+ website links here?
    • Ladypcnj
Yeah, ELF is a good brand, another brand is Revlon ColorStay last 24 hours.

I really don't think that's a good idea. The unity of the LGB and T community is historic and has been central for both groups rights. And the vast majority of people advocating for splitting the two are transphobic LGB's who are broadly condemned by the community anyway.

A bit late in updating, but I've had the draft of the official diagnosis and have (as yet unconfirmed) an endo consultation next month.   Next to arrive will be the supporting documentation for my new passport application for my correct gender.  This will then be my official ID for all the other updates - bank, tax, payroll etc.   It just feels good to to be proactive again rather than waiting for other people to move at a leisurely pace.

I like ELF brand cosmetics, I can pick them up at JC Penny.    I wear makeup everyday, but mostly just very light makeup.
