Bought a few new items this week to bolster my wardrobe. Got a lovely Tartan Mini Skirt from Matalan on Tuesday, something I have been after for a while, and also bought my first pair of womens jeans. Picked up a nice jacket from a charity shop as well. Asda have a really nice selection of formal business type wear at the moment, jackets, skirts and trousers in a lovely grey pinstripe, that I really want, but can't get the jacket or the trousers in store, or the jacket online. I bought the skirt today and my first T Shirt Bra, both of which I'm wearing now, and the skirt looks fabulous. God I hope I can get the jacket to go with it. The jeans I bought look incredible on me, I really love them. I never really thought much about womens trousers before as I just assumed they would be like mens, but I tried on my first pair of womens trousers last weekend in a shop changing room, and along with the jeans I bought, there is something really sensual about them. This isn't the first time I've had my fashion senses turned round by going en femme. I have never liked peep toe shoes on a woman, but I bought a pair on sale months ago, just out of curiosity, and I really like them. I matched the Tartan Mini to a white blouse, black stockings and red shoes and it looks great. The jeans went well with the jacket I bought, and a pair of dark red boots, and I had some tops in my wardrobe that helped finish the look. I bought the T Shirt bra on my sisters recommendation, but I'm undecided on it for the moment. I'm begining to pick up a bit of fashion sense now, just by looking around and seeing what women are wearing. It's not something I seem to be able to do as a man for some reason.

Sounds lovely! I wanna go shopping with you now lol

I bought mascara today :P

Lash Blast! I was a little disappointed though, I was looking forward to the blindingly orange brush, but the waterproof version has a black one. Booooooo.

Yes yes, I know, it's all gonna be black anyway when it gets used. Allow me my tiny Pleasures!!

Margaret, you are fast becoming the Laura's Playground fashion Diva!

You're outfit sounds (if I may borrow a British phrase) smashing!

You know we're going to ask for photos, don't you? Grin!

Have fun, Hon. Shop till you drop!

go9od show, lass! I also appreciate your comment on jeans and trousers: far away and long ago I just supposed there wouldn't be all that difference with men's wear -- but hip hugging, bottom molding and skinny pants leg are truly wonderful! I've yet to wear jeans with heels but may try someday(looks a little vulgar, I think -- but then I'm open to change :)

I'll see what I can do regarding piccies. I did have some in the gallery but had reached a limit, so emptied the gallery to put more in and now I can't seem to upload any. Any help regarding this would be appreciated. Carolyn Marie.. me.. a fashion diva? If you saw me en homme you would think I look like the proverbial sack of. I have built up a nice wee wardrobe over the last few months, and now have selection of stuff to mix and match. Apart from some money set aside for a matching jacket and trousers for the skirt I got, I won't be buying anything for a while until I find a job. However thank you all for your lovely comments.

I went and bought a cute french maid/tuxedo teddy and a nice red with a blue outline thong while at the lingerie store today. I wanted the teddy the last time I went, but they only had S and I usually wear M or L. Luckily they had a medium left in stock.

Who says Harvard can't dance? This drag queen Harvard student knows her subject by heart and by voice!   IMG_2557.mov

I agree. This law is impractical and impossible to evenly enforce without such ridiculous measures in place. What it will do is stigmatize the trans community in Oklahoma and nothing more but ofc, that’s the only point of it.   If I was in that state and needed a restroom, there’s no chance I’d ever step foot in the men’s restroom because of some law. I know I’m not alone in that thinking. This law won’t stand the test of time.

I asked AI to create an image of myself 30 years younger based off my avatar on another site and this was the result:     Wow! I am amazed how close it got my 30 year old face!

Quite true.  The amusing thing about opposites is how similar they can be.   My family left Greece because of the conflict between the communists and the militarists/fascists.

This wouldn't even be a problem if they would just leave us alone.  It is a no-brainer.

OMG.  I'm glad it wasn't worse, and you were able to get on it quickly.  Lots of blood can be scary.

Like I said, I'm no tankie, but I do see a world of difference between Joseph Stalin and Bernie Sanders.   If the point is not wanting 'government control' the Right is pretty good at that themselves - as they've been demonstrating lately. This stuff gets complicated.

So, I am curious. Is the Governor going to mandate vaginal or penile recognition photos before one enters the restroom? Considering the Governor has no balls to do the right thing, will he have to pee against a tree outside? Inquiring minds would like to know. I love it when the job recruiters contact me about the wonderful jobs available in Oklahoma. It is so much fun telling them there is no way I will ever go to Oklahoma. When there are no workers, then they can shutter the place.

Ngl, probably Sonic the Hedgehog, the Beatles, or the Monkees. Those are the three subjects I know the most about so I could drop hours of info on them.

Isaac Asimov, Albert Einstein and Robert Kennedy, in that order.

Thank you! I'm out of coffee so I have been drinking hot tea instead. Looking forward to the 1st. It's crazy that we are almost in May. This year has flown by really quick! Good to hear that y'all got to sleep in. Hope you have a good weekend too!

It's nice to care about others but you need to live your life as you please. No one be your only source of happiness. Love yourself and don't look back. I lost over 40 family members it hurts but apparently, they didn't truly love me. True love will always be there through the thick and thin. I can honestly say that HRT has made me think in ways that I never thought I would. I get myself some shoes or clothes every month because retail therapy not only helps but it is a reward to myself to show love. I have over 100 dresses. I have a whole walk-in-closet full of clothes and 67 pairs of shoes. I love who I am. I was born in 84 so not all people in the 80's think that way. As far as the name just take your time and be happy with it. I knew I loved the name Ashley. Take care and welcome!

Congratulations Sam,   The common saying her once someone starts HRT is: “Enjoy the ride.”   Best wishes, stay positive and motivated    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
