So, I had a few extra minutes to kill so I decided to look up girl names for a new middle name. And I found one that I love! My name is now: Natalie Alexis ******. :D I'm SOOO excited!

Love,

Natalie Alexis

I haven't put much thought into a middle name. I'm still deciding if I've settled on my first yet. I've considered asking my mom, since she would have decided if I'd been born with the right parts anyway. I dunno.

Well I'm going on the assumption that it's going to cost me the same amount whether I change all my names or just one of them. While I'm at it I'm gonna get rid of that second middle name. wth? who needs all those names! Apparently I was supposed to have 3 middle names....but they wouldn't put them all on the birth certificate, thank god.

Congrats on the middle name. :D Thats a pretty name you decided on.

I'm going to keep my given middle name, Noel.

Noel's a beautiful name! However I kind of have this repulsion from having 2 initials that are the same.

Natalie Alexis (sorry if my grammar's terrible)

 That sounds almost like a OCD trait. ;) What if your name was Natalie Noel Nichalson? (That's not my last name btw) Then you would have a triple N for initials. :D

Seriously though I like Alexis a lot. You picked a beautiful middle name it's very regal.

Natalie Alexis is a pretty name to have as a middle name. I decided to keep my middle name but in it's female version (Neala) since my middle name is my mother's maiden name which is also the Irish clan we descended from.

Congratulations for settling into such a beautiful name. IIRC, it means "helper" or "defender" in old Greek. It's always good to have a new defender in the TG community ;)

This reminds me of a scene in M. Ende's The Neverending Story, where Bastian Baltasar Bux meets Karl Konrad Koreander. Both characters even joke a bit about the triple B and the triple K there. Anyway, that's just an anecdote :P

I was about to say it was OCD to think that way, but decided against it, not knowing if anyone on here would be offended by the post. And thank you!

Neala's pretty too! But the female version of my middle name would be Wilma, which I don't care for (nor do I care for William)

Thank you Ethain. :) I ended up settling on Alexis for it's meaning, in addition to my other criteria: starting with an 'A' (Since my legal first name starts with an a I wanted one of my new names to.) and sounding nice. I have always been a defender of my friends, and I will probably be a defender of all my friends here too. Although, I find my defensive nature sort of pardoxial, since I myself crave a protector.

Thank you all so much! I love you guys!!! :D

Well Natalie we all have something we dislike but I can understand with William, I sure haven't been that crazy about Dennis but I do like Denise. Besides we are all something of a paradox just by being who we are (at least that is my opinion) and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Nope.  I live in a rural area.  Pride events are for city folks.  The normally quiet LGBTQ+ club kind of changes atmosphere during that time, and things get a bit political.  As a non-Democrat, I avoid it.

For me, definitely the size thing.  I'm 5'4" on a good day, and 100lbs.  I can pass as a teenage boy, but never for my real mid-30s age.  And since my husband looks older than his age, I'm often assumed to be his kid.  Or folks think there's something illegal going on.      Also, my lack of the typical aggressive "masculine" demeanor.  I don't really desire the typical masculine social role, nor could I do it even if I tried really hard.  I'm usually quiet and kind of timid.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

No, they are the only provider of services I need an my area. 😑

My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

Anyone play war and order on their phones?
    • violet r
I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Welcome to the party, M.A.     Sounds chaotic haha, I can confidently say that living with only two children the same age is stressful enough, much less three!
