Sex organ engineering isn't necessarily on the top of the medical scientists' to-do list when they are focusing on life-saving organs like blood vessels and heart valves, but I have faith that one day tissue engineering will replace neo-penises and at the rate the tube organ tech is progressing, especially neo-vaginas (neo meaning reconstructed sex tissue.)

Imagine one day sending some of your reproductive organ tissue to a lab, where they will grow a new organ around a model. New tissue and pre-transplant exercising reduces the need for vagina dilation, and maybe even now erectile tissue could be built for the guys. Imagine the vaginas being self-lubricating as well. All of this is possible within a few years! Don't forget the possibility of a fully functioning uterus, which could have a baby implanted into it. The baby itself would provide the hormones necessary for pregnancy (to my knowledge.)

Cosmetically, a mons is actually possible through skin-printing. It is an far-fetched seeming procedure where fatty tissue and skin cells are blown onto the surface of the skin via an ink-jet printer. The cells are as large as a droplet of paint. Go figure. All I can say is I'm astonished myself.

I really hope we can all get the real deal "within a few years" (if that timeframe is a realistic one... which is what I'm not sure of.) The uncertainty of how long this might take is driving me nuts! I feel like I won't ever feel complete without the whole package... so to speak, lol.

i also would not mind being able to impregnate. it's weird, since I'm not sure i even want children, I just want the potential to be there. Even though a lot of guys probably wish they didn't have to worry about that... lol, I guess it's like you girls and your desire to have periods and the ability to get pregnant.

Yeah well we are always the last straw...

there are probably going to be better breast implant techniques for cosmetic reasons before mtf surgical improvements come along.

likewise there are probably going to be improved penile implant techniques for cosmetic ( /ego booster? ) reasons before ftm surgical improvements come along.

It's like, come on, at least you have something! We should be first, I'm so tired of girls complaining their boobs are too small and guys complaining their junk needs enhancing when we have much bigger issues to deal with.
