Went to church this morning in a white shrug over my royal blue sleeveless maxi dress. Unfortunately, no heels today, I wore them too long yesterday and my feet said "not today"?

I'll be out working on an addition to our sugar house today.  I'm wearing UPF 50 pants and a UPF 50 shirt.  I'll add sunscreen and a big brimmed hat also UPF 50.  The sun and i are on a no touch relationship as possible.  I have a very light complexion and have been dealing with precancerous problems for several years now.  Working on a farm requires some protection form the elements.  Please be careful.

A maxi dress!  I really don't like them - never have.  But while on a trip to the drug store this past Thursday...yes drug store...they had a clothing display that caught my eye.  I thought they were just regular dresses but they were maxi dresses.  At first I did a silent "ugh".  But the more I looked them over and how they were styled/cut, I thought "why not??"  I don't know what attracted me to them so much but I took a chance and bought 3 of them that I really liked.  And that's mostly all I've been in since Friday.  ?

Your post Briana, inspired me to get out my stretchy denim maxi-dress for today, it's fitted for curves (darts), I love the fit, gives me a nice waist line too, I think it's a nice kinda maxi-dress day here overcast and will be about 70 today, I'll wear it with some  burgundy strappy sandals....

I have one maxi dress but don't wear it much.  I do have a cute maxi skirt that is a rayon type material that fits nice and moves nicely as I walk.
