When I registered I would have chosen Tomgirl in the gender selection because it would fit me the best, but this gender choice doesn't exist in this forum, so I choose it for my user name and get transgender as my gender (the most general choice : do not recognize really myself as transsexual, androgynous, crossdresser or even transgenderist). I didn't either gave a country just because I'm from Brittany and my country is not registered here despite we have a flag, it's just a country who wants independance like Scotland but haven't yet get it.

I'm married with children

I’m in my mid forties and I’m long haired, fortunately I’ve got less body hair than the average man as well my organs are slightly smaller than the average man’s, must have a low level of testosterone in the blood.

I’ve got a real weight problem. Even if I’m not so much overweight my fat tends to go inside my liver, it’s a silencious disease called hepatic steatosis that cause blood disorder, portal hypertension and reduce life expectancy. My last blood analysis results were not so good, so I’m on a diet

As well if this diet may improve my actual waist hip-ratio (actually 0,91 which is not really feminine), it would be nice and allow me to look at the fitted clothes of the women’s department of an online store, so two good reasons to lose weight.

I’ve got a special face shape (as do have Ron Pearlman or Christina Ricci, for instance my head has a 24.5 inches circumference) and my height is 5’ 11’’. So I do not hope to pass as a bio woman.

So skirts and high heels are not for me (I do not want to appear as a Sweetie or a transvestite). the best for me is to go toward a clothing style that is between unisex and casual women’s to fit with both my body and my mind even if I would enjoy to wear really sexy and feminine clothes because I just feel myself far more female than male.

When I was a toddler, before I can remember, I asked my parents for a doll, they didn’t know how to do so they bought me a bath baby doll because at those times real dolls were only for girls.

In my late preteen I read extracts from Jan Morris’ autobiography in a magazine and found it fascinating.

I’ve been aware of my gender dysphoria at the age of seventeen.

I did not do a lot to express my feminity during all those years just keep my hair long, just bought a few clothes like some women’s pullovers (not too much feminine, didn’t anyway wear them a lot). I’ve too much compromised with social conventions just because too many people are likely to physically or verbally aggress people they consider different. And I’ve experienced this kind of behavior because I’ve always been perceived as different.
