I'm Back! And Did I Have Some Fun!

Hey girls!

I know, I havn't been around here very much lately. I've poked my head in a few times just to see what's going on and see that there are sooooo many new members here! How awesome is that!

I have been having an incredibly busy summer. Working 55 to 70 hours a week all summer has been pretty brutal. So, thats why I haven't been around :(

Anywho, life is good and I have had a few moments to be able to dress and let myself go.

But, last week was just oooooooh soooo good!

I basically told my boss I would not be in one morning, that I would get to work around 2. He was fine with that so after the rest of my family left for the day, I got all cleaned up, put on some panties/hose, some dress slacks, a pink and white sweater, gold earings and black flats and took off to a very large city thats pretty close by.

I spent all morning and into the afternoon SHOPPING!

HERE IS THE BEST PART THOUGH:

(I have to mention here that when I go out shopping, I still have a small beard and moustashe. I shave the rest of my face and usually wear lip gloss and maybe a bit of foundation to even out my face. I wish I could shave it off, but my wife really likes me to have it.)

Next to the mall that I was shopping at, I saw a cute little bridal salon that opened at 10. I was waiting in my car when they opened their doors. I went inside and the lady asked if she could help me. I told her I was looking for a dress for a new years party. She assumed right from the start that I was buying it for ME! She told me her name and asked for mine. She called me Ashlee the whole time I was there. She helped me look through the dresses and asked me if I wanted to try them on. OF COURSE I DID :) She even helped me zip them up and stood next to me as I looked myself over in front of the BIG mirror! I have never felt so feminine.

I think what made it go so well is that I never tried to hide anything. She told me that there have been other men that come there for dresses and they don't handle us any different than anyone else. That really helped me feel comfortable too.

I know I will be stopping at another bridal salon someday. I hope the people there are just as nice as this wonderful lady. If I get the chance soon, I may go back to this same salon, she was expecting a shippment of prom gowns soon! ;)

Ashlee, what a wonderful experience. To find a shopkeeper who is that understanding is just a gift from above.

To feel like a woman for an afternoon out is so great. I envy you.

I hope you have many more such experiences, Hon. Good for you! :)

Oh DeeJay, It was sooo much fun. And I was able to "get away" at such a good time. I've been so incredibly busy at work and just needed this as a stress reliever. And it sure did!

Glad I could make you smile :)

I really think there are more shopkeepers out there like this than we all think. Just go on out there and try, the worst they can do is say no. Big Deal - just move on to the next shop I say!

I sure hope I get another chance SOON!!

Oh, Andrea,

I thought the same way at one time. Until I just got in the car and went. It is such an incredible feeling!

I started feminizing HRT about 6-7 weeks ago. I began with what I called the beginner's patch. I immediately found myself wanting to level up to the next dose and did that this week (yay!). So far, I am enjoying the ride.   I've read everything I can find on this topic. For the HRT vets on here, what is reasonable to expect in terms of physical changes for someone starting in their 50s? I know "your mileage may vary." I guess I am curious if I stay on my current trajectory for six months, a year, multiple years, how pronounced will the physical changes be? Will I reach a point where it is totally obvious or will I land in a "middle zone" somewhere in which I could pass either way?   Thanks! Like I said I am enjoying the ride so far and always curious to know others' experiences. Not sure anyone else in my life will be excited about these moves I am making, but I have been over that in many places on here already so need to rehash... Love and blessings to all!   Easy

Being admitted into the hospital after a long ER visit. I started passing lots of blood and they are keeping me for observation.    Nurse came in to see about a condom catheter, that of course doesn't work on me. 🤣   She said, "I guess we will use incontinence supplies on you."

Yeah.  I think this is what it is about.  Since they are not transgender, nobody else could possibly be either.  I'm not sure that a cisgender person can understand being transgender.  But that hardly means that a transgender person's experience is not real - just because it is not theirs. Why is a transgendered person's experience not valid, while a cisgendered person's is?  Why should it be the cisgendered person that decides? Nobody is forcing a cis person to transition.  What I do for myself is my own business.

Decided to head for Lowes after work early and bought a new stove. Was in stock and put it back of my truck.Luckily a neighbor of mine whom does appliance repair did come to remove the connection and convert the stove to natural gas in the new one.Was set up for propane.Happy with it and the scrap metal guy came to pick up my old one.He was happy to get it,said he needed one more to make it a load in his trailer full of junk appliances

I've been thinking it is a matter of belief.  They simply do not believe someone can validly be transgender and should not be allowed to practice their beliefs, but should be forced to practice their belief, that is, that there is no such thing as transgender and it is all mental illness/sin/hormonal imbalance.

I am really kind of sick of everybody who is not transgender deciding on what we need and do not need in the way of procedures. They act like all of this is play acting, and we can just apply cosmetics to our entire body. It might be refreshing if someone asked us directly what services we need in order to transition. I could say more as I am frustrated, but I do not want to violate the TOS.

Good luck on selling your wife on the idea of a different car. This could be tougher than negotiating with a dealership.   My wife agreed to my taking profit out of the company to buy a used truck once we found out the 2014 F-250 I currently had with 267,244 miles on it was needing new torque converter solenoids and the DEF system is chocking up. We bought a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, Duramax 4X4, with 163,000 miles. LTZ Off Road package, power mirrors, chrome step boards, rear camera, exhaust brake, and air lift bags on the rear suspension. It belonged to a friend of mine who also owned a mobile training business.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
