Hello, I'm Rachel, and I stumbled onto this site looking for better ways to shave my body while I wait for my therapist to give the okay to an endocrinologist to start proscribing me hormones; I've got three months of waiting to do.... I figure I won't start laser hair removal treatments till I've been on hormones for a few months. (I've got almost as much body hair as Robin Williams; evolution wasn't kind to some of us....)

Anyway, once I made it here, I found that I didn't have to go anywhere else for answers, so I hope you don't mind me "spongin' knowledge" off of you gals while I get a little more used to things. As I'm sure you know: a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. ;)

Well, my electrolgist says that my hairs come out way easier since I've been on HRT...so that's good for you....and it sounds like you have your work cut out! But, I love your sense of humor...

And you just "sponge" all you like...that's what we're all here for...after all, we're a support site!

So, relax...kick off your shoes and enjoy.....OK?

This is a great place from what I've seen so far (I'm a new member myself) so I'm sure there'll be plenty of people ready to share their knowledge with you. Again, welcome :)

Yeah, I hear that laser is less painful than electrolysis, and also that it's best to wait till hormone therapy helps to make body hairs less dense, so I've got awhile before I can stop supporting "Gillette's" entire yearly payroll. he heh

Which is kind of strange at times when I answer a lot of posts, and yet, since it's just after 2:20 AM, there's no moderator here to okay them for the boards, and so everything still looks empty even though I've been here reading and posting for almost two hours.       What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow
