Binding And Packing Uk Style

I was just wondering if anyone could give me any websites or stores to visit in the UK that sell stuff for binding and packing or any help on this because after spending quite sometime browsing the internet the only credible site I could find was the american site Underworks.com/ftm which I have to pay quite a massive shipping fee for the vests which on a student budget isnt ideal.

Anyway- if anyone could help me out id be grateful!!

im in the UK as well and have been looking for binders, have u tried T kingdom its an asian company, which make binders for tomboys etc, i havent used it but have seen a lot of ftms recommending it. I have no idea of its credibility, as i havent used it. so just be careful and background check on it.

I've always had that problem as well. I've never found any products in the UK, particularly STPs and packers. I've always had to buy from the US and other places. So I'd also be interested if anyone had any ideas of places in the UK.

I agree that T kingdom is very much your best bet for binders.

Packing is a hard one; Mango is the most well known site and it is US based. However, my friend swears by:

LoveHoney.co.uk

These packers are sex toys intended for aestetic use (to look good) but apparently they feel ok and are a decent price. I would NOT advise picking a large, it could look and feel ridiculous, like you have a stiffy or something. They're made of this rubber that feels natrual, flops and to some extent retain body heat, but some guys reckon it looks comical and doesn't really work for day to day stuffing.

Personally I don't like how they look but at least they aren't that ridiculous shade of pink that the Mangos start out as... Oh and that's another thing, they come in limited colours so if you don't have sort or peachy skin they may not be for you. Depending on what you are going for, that might not work for you, i.e if you're looking for realism (say if someone caught a glimpse from afar while you were at a urinal) then again they don't come with a harness so if you have loose pants you'd have to keep the packer in your pocket which is not always ideal . Another thing I would mention is that it doesn't work as an STP and looks hard to modify into one.

If all your going for is feel then there are cheaper options, like make your own:

DJ's Soft pack

If you get kicked in the nuts a lot, don't do this cause you'll get hair gel all over your trousers. ;)

haha thanks for the tip!

i did actually buy a strap on from lovehoney. theyr pretty good but obviosuly cant wear them in public so it that kinda sucks. its a shame bout them only doing one colour though. i dont know anyone whos skin is that pink lol

a good thing for u to be able to pee at a urinal is using the packers, burning a hole through it then putting a "shewee" in it. saw this tip on youtube. i just ordered a binder from t kingdom so ill let u guys know how good it is when it gets here!

Oh you got a strap? how come you can't wear it in public? People shouldn't notice it it's under clothes. Personally I do the cheap classic of using socks to stuff as long as I don't have any vigorous exersize to do. It would be good to get a proper packer that straps in and holds on in the future though.

well the harness for the strap on is useless and flimsy and i couldnt wear it all day, plus its quite big and i occasionally wear skinny jeans - so it wud be noticed ! lol

i want to buy a packer but i need to save some money first cos i want one that u can actually pee through but according to reviews most are useless lol

I have a binder from T-kingdom. the company itself is fine, i recieved both binders i order no problem..they take a while to send through though but all stuff from that area of the world does XD

the onyl thing about them is when i returned my binder for a larger size..it vanished off the face of the earth...and i suspect that happens fairly frequently...so if you get it and its the wrong size hang on to it~! you wont have lost anything and you may even be able to use it for something else...

Product wise, they work quite well at binding it depends on your chest size...i have stupidly huge breasts so pretty much nothing i do with them works..

but my friend who is sorta smalish b cup wears one and its fantastic, it doesnt show under clothes and she only ever got called on it once because a mate hugged and asked what it was XD

I know you've already ordered one but for future reference if you need it Xd i'd advise getting a zip up one...i was dubious about the zip giving but i have a zip up compression/sports bra thing and it works SO much better than the velcro on the binder...just make sure your sure about the size..obivously its not adjustable XD

Link to comment

thanks for the heads up! i followed their measurements and instructions- im just hoping it binds enough rather than just being like another vest top- otherwise i spent £30 on a vest top i coulda bought for £2!! lol

last time i wore a bra.. i was a C cup, borderline D, they look big inproportion to my body cos im kinda skinny although bin trying to beef up a bit and put on a bit more weight.

I did consider the zip one cos when iv worn zip up life jackets for kayaking they seriously compress but also they have massive clips to strap u down which u can tighten- so i kinda thought the velcro wud be kinda like the straps lol

i wish there was an actual store on the high street or in the gay village i cud go to to try this stuf on cos its impossible to decide about sizes and stuff.

serious budget stuff

Love honey site for cheap packys they are cheap and some can be over sized so pick carefully.

Also you can buy a cheap packy there and carefully poke a hole through it and buy a shewee also a brit site that will give you a bulky STP for less then 20 quid.

Vests you can either look on sport direct site for small compression vests there about 15 quid they dont do a great job but they can help if you want a binder and can wait there is a big bro binder exchange in the usa for a free one, I personally have a size large double fronted vest in white from underworks which I dont need any more but it did flaten my D chest.

As for the colours yea they are not the best but once your wear it in and you need to dust them with talc also to keep them from becoming sticky its not -that- bad.

If you want a harness for a packy honestly dont even bother to buy one get a rubber dik ring cost about 3 quid and some extra large, soft trainer shoe laces and bingo 2 knots and you have a harnes for maybe 5 quid.

LOL if you need any more details of how to make find this stuff PM me

Link to comment

yeah i didn't bother following the measuring instructions first time round ^^; *learnt my lesson nowXD*

they're pretty much the same as ones from underworks from what i can tell, the main binder bit is made out of kinda stretchy super strong elastic (it takes a bit of muscle to get it to stretch when just holding it...)

what you can do if you find it uncomfortable (with larger breasts i sometimes find they compress down and the skin sorts sticks to each other....) or if it doesn't compress as well, is get a minimiser bra (which you can get from pretty much anywhere for about £15), which sorta spreads em apart and tries to tuck them under your armpits XD

the website does say they're for up to a D cup and most people i've seen with that size say the binder works fine...

the biggest problem with the velcro is it does up under your arm...which isnt so easy to reach XD gotta be pretty flexible to get it tight enough...

Link to comment

thats a very good point bout the velcro- never though of flexibility.. well when i get enough money to get another i will get a zip one and hopefully ill know my correct size by then! lol

Thank you B.heard for your tips on packers! theres so many different things u can do instead of packers as well as the range of packers themselves that its always hard to decide which is the right way to go for yourself.

I'll second this. I made the mistake of ordering the large size, and I was quite suprised by just how large, large was! Other than the size, it seems to have a good feel though, so I would order again, but probably go for the medium or small next time. Good price too!

I've lost my pee-er, now I just want a cheap medicine spoon which I could later incorperate into a packer. Where would I get one? It doesn't turn up in the search on the online Boots store.

Same with me. And I can't afford to buy a binder...well, I can but my mum watches my internet banking like a hawk so everytime I draw money out she goes crazy on me and demands to know what I bought. At the moment I use a tacky homemade one which doesn't really do anything at all...frustrating as heck.

you could go to the pharmacist and ask for a medical spoon that measures. they use em for babies i think, so u can measure the medicine then feed it directly cos otherwise its impossible! i think that might be the closest u can get. it will probably be free too. let me know if that works.

I'm a masculine woman. It's not about masculinity though. It's about expanding what it means to be a woman.

It never rains but it pours.  We had a dry spring, but now my garden is a swamp and my yard is a pond.  Get off the gravel road, and you'd need a hovercraft.    With nothing better to do, I'm going on a short trip with my husband tomorrow.  Since he's in management he usually doesn't do this sort of work, but whenever he does I usually go along.  And he already knows not to try staying in a hotel, because I want to sleep in the bunk in the truck.  So much more cozy.    And for a couple of days, GF can actually take care of her own kids instead of leaving them to me....

I have played clarinet, but without talent.  And while I *can* sing, I think listening to it would be an acquired taste.

Hi Sally, okay I'll head on over to your post and check out your makeup techniques.

Hey all,   It's been a while, but I blogged a whole series on makeup.  It's an eight-part series where I talk about my techniques.   Here is the link to Part 1:       Hopefully the blog series is helpful.

Oh, I can relate to that one Vicky, leaving lipstick in hot weather  I've lost count how many times I had to purchase new purses.

Thanks for the replies, as an admin from my own group I understand the same rules, agreed.

I do spoken word acting, and give Trans 101 talks and other public speaking.  I wear make-up for those occasions.  Sephora is easy for me to get to, and has a foundation that does a good job for me and the sales folks there are Trans Friendly.  Their eye shadow pallets are also fun to use. Another source of my foundation is Ulta which carries Dermablend that does a consistent job of my lower face and chin.   I just use good old Revlon lipsticks because I ruin them by leaving my purse in the hot car too often.

I'm not interested in makeup, jewelry or nice clothes or girly stuff.  It's made me wonder at times.   It saves some money.  If I wore a skirt it would likely  be denim.  I thought about a woman's skirt suit but nah.   Neither of my sisters are into that stuff either.  One likes peasant chic (still a 60s flower girl)  and the other - the only time she has ever worn a dress was at her wedding.  Jeans at all other times.   Jeans and t shirt here.  Content being a girl.  Weirdo. Weirda? Never mind.

@Ladypcnj Before posting links to other group's websites, PM one of the Staff (preferably an Admin) and have them check that site out.   We have specific rules here regarding age appropriateness and would need to know that the other site is in line with those rules.  We do have members here between 13 and 18 and other sites need to be safe for that age range, legally and otherwise.  Also, we are not a dating or pick-up site, not do we allow people selling things to advertise here.  As I said clear the link with a moderator or admin before posting it.  Mod's and admins do check out posts and if we find problem links we will remove them and notify the OP of a rules violation.  Go to https://www.transgenderpulse.com/community-rules to understand where we are.

I raise my hand in the group, I have a question and a suggestion... is it allowed to share other new lgbtq+ website links here?
    • Ladypcnj
Yeah, ELF is a good brand, another brand is Revlon ColorStay last 24 hours.
